James Scott is a great interview because he always seems to answer honestly and as a normal person. It never feels like you are asking a politician a difficult question. James is a straight shooter and I respect that. I am looking forward to speaking with him at Day of Days in November.

The downfall of EJ DiMera is coming alive this week on Days. The truth of the Sydnapping ( that EJ kidnapped his own daughter to exact revenge on Sami, Nicole and Stefano), will be revealed by Rafe Hernandez. EJ’s world will be crushed and torn apart, as the woman he has tried so desperately to love, will leave him at the altar and crumble him into the lowest point a man can ever get to. This will probably be a controversial viewpoint, but I blame Sami for EJ’s demise 100%.

First, Sami has denied her feelings for EJ for four years. Secondly, she is the one who wanted to keep EJ in the dark about her pregnancy about Sydney because of his family name and all the ‘crimes’ he has committed. I find this very hypocritical, considering Sami has committed the same crimes in Salem, like raping Austin. Sami is a villainess.  Sami denied telling EJ about his daughter because she was jealous he had moved on with Nicole. So, she goes into witness protection, and still fails to tell EJ about her pregnancy. She confides in Rafe, and he becomes her saving hero, offering to keep the evil EJ DiMera away from Grace.

So, after Grace dies, Sami admits to EJ that she was his daughter, and she enjoyed watching his pain and suffering. Let’s not forget her clever move of giving Grace’s middle name of Rafaela, and not giving EJ one chance to know Grace. I find it interesting that Sami would allow EJ to be around Johnny, but not Grace, considering they are both EJ’s children. Then, came the infamous Christmas Eve scene, where EJ overhears Sami and Rafe conspiring that would have kept Sydney a secret from EJ forever.

Between the two  fiascoes, Nicole is outed as having a miscarriage, and EJ comes to find out that not only his wife Nicole but his father Stefano had hid the secret of Sydney’s true mother and played him for a year. Considering all EJ wanted was a family and someone to love, both Sami, Nicole, and his own father betrayed him. EJ was angry and hurt, so he resorted to kidnapping Sydney. Now, I know two wrongs don’t make a right, but do you blame the guy after everything he’s been through?

You can tell EJ has felt an enormous amount of guilt. He just wants a family, a woman he loves to love him back, and to live happily. I don’t blame him considering his father is Stefano DiMera. Who wouldn’t want a little normalcy?  EJ proposes to Sami and she accepts, after the second time but she was dreaming of Rafe and even kissed him.

I think Sami started this whole Sydnapping catastrophe  the moment she lied to EJ about Sydney’s existence. If she would have just been honest, none of this chain reaction to EJ’s demise would have ever occurred. What do you think will happen next? Who’s to blame? EJ or Sami? I pick Sami 100%! She treats EJ like a doormat.

Phloe fans rejoice! Philip Kiriakis has fathered his second child now with the lovely Chloe Lane, but not everything in Salem is always what it seems. Stephanie tried unsuccessfully to change the paternity results when she suspected Philip  fathered Chloe’s baby. She did this in order to keep her lover Nathan Horton away from his ex-girlfriend, Melanie Layton-Kiriakis. Her job was done fore her, when she realized the paternity test had already been altered. Considering Stephanie didn’t change the results, this now leads to a new crop of mystery for Days fans. Who changed the paternity results? The shows angles and storyline reveal several individuals who could have changed the results! Here are a list of susepcts:

1.Philip Kiriakis- Telling Melanie he had to leave to fix a problem at work, and then claiming the IT guy Leonard at Titan Enterprises had fixed the computer virus on the company’s computers as an excuse to his wife Melanie. Could Philip have changed the results in order to save his marriage to Melanie and keep her out of Nathan arms?

2.Daniel Jonas- Daniel received mysterious text messages and was also shown using a computer. Did Daniel go against his doctor’s ethic values, and change the results on purpose, knowing full well Philip was the father, in order to keep his fiancée Chloe and family together and not upset his daughter Melanie’s marriage?

3.Chloe Lane- Did the baby’s mother change the results herself, because she was scared of Daniel finding out the truth? Or did Philip and Chloe mutually agree to alter the results? Only time will tell.

4.Nathan Horton- Considering he knew that Chloe had an affair, did he stumble upon the truth, and in order to protect his feelings towards Melanie, change the results?

5.Melanie Kiriakis- Was it Daniel’s daughter, who was considering a job at St.Mary’s, where Chloe had the paternity test done, in order to save her own marriage to Philip and to keep her father content, knowing he was going to raise a child, when he didn’t get to raise her from a baby?

6.Carly Manning- In order to save Chloe and Daniel’s happiness, as well as her daughter Melanie, did Carly change the results herself?

7.Ian- did he change the results in order to show his secret love for Stephanie?

8.Victor Kiriakis- Did Victor find out about the affair somehow, and change the results, in order to keep Chloe away from his son Philip?

Or was it Stefano DiMera? Was Chloe really able to get pregnant, and have a miracle baby, or perhaps, when Chloe was in the hospital, did Dr.Rolf appear and Stefano orchestrated the heir to his next throne? Only time will tell, considering Stefano could be behind anything in Salem. Perhaps the baby is really Kate and Stefano’s child!! Who knows?

So, a list of suspects of who switched the results boils down to Philip, Daniel, Chloe, Nathan, Melanie, Carly, Ian, Victor or Stefano. Who do you think switched the results and why?

It was revealed last week that Stefano has fathered another child: Chad Peterson-Woods after a flashback Kate had of Stefano and Chad’s mother, Madeline, who died earlier in this summer in Salem from a fall down the famous pier stairs, making love. Now, Chad already has two dominant forces living in Salem at the present moment, an older brother EJ and an older sister Lexie. However, where are the other children Stefano has fathered over the years?

Stefano has seven children. It is a coincidence that his four other children are already deceased. Stefano’s had a daughter with Lee DuMonde named Renee who died in 1983. His next child was Tony DiMera, who he had with Daphne. Tony died last year, after an accident on the pier. After Tony, Stefano had an affair with an unknown woman, and gave birth to a daughter named Megan Hathaway, who later died in 1985. After Renee, Stefano had an affair with psychic Celeste Perreault, who fathered Alexandra Brooks, or affectionately known as Lexi. Stefano also fathered Benjy Hawk, with Ellen Hawk, who died 2007. EJ’s mother is Susan Banks.

Stefano’s offspring Lexi and EJ are dominant forces in Salem, and Chad has the potential to be a key new DiMera, following in either Lexi’s footsteps of tolerating her father due to blood relations, but staying away from the Phoenix or he could follow in EJ’s steps, and fully live the way of the Phoenix, participating in all the violent acts and schemes Stefano has grown famous for as a villain on Days of Our Lives. What do you think will be the next chapter for the New DiMera: Chad Peterson-Woods? Would you like Stefano to know the truth, or do you think he’ll meet the fate of Renee, Megan, Benjy, and Tony?

Now as we all know, almost everyone in the town of Salem is connected in someway whether it be by blood, adoption, friendship, saving someone’s life, etc. Despite a lot of the connections certain people have in Salem, you hardly ever see them together. Example, Sami & Stephanie are cousins, yet how many scenes have they had in the past two years? Rafe & Carly save each other’s lives yet I doubt they’ll be on each other’s Christmas card list. Abe & Roman have been best friends forever but now its almost as if they have restraining orders against each other. There’s one connection that has yet to be explored at all in the past year and it involves Brady. As we can all see, young Mr. Black seems to be approaching a downward spiral. I wouldn’t say he’s about to jump off the ledge yet but he does appear to be stumbling up the stairs, heading towards the roof.

And of course Brady’s nosedive stems from Nicole. He once again trusted her for reasons unbeknownst to me, apparently being lied to is just a turn on for him. But I guess this time putting his trust in Nicole and being let down yet again was the straw that broke the camel’s back because he’s now turned to something that’s just as addictive and dangerous as Nicole. He’s turned to the booze, and unlike the 99% of the people of Salem, Brady doesn’t seem to hold his liquor that well. Obviously the liquor is to mask the pain he’s feeling as well as the disappointment in himself for yet another failed relationship and another failed attempt at love with Nicole.

To me if there is one thing that Brady needs right now its guidance. Brady does have family he could talk to but Philip isn’t the best person to take advice from and Victor is a little too blunt at times for his liking. Then on the other side Brady doesn’t really have many females to talk about his issues that can be somewhat impartial when the topic of Nicole comes up. Him and Sami are closer than they were years ago but I can’t see them having a conversation without one of them yelling about EJ or Nicole. The closest female in Brady’s life for the past year and a half has probably been Melanie, who also isn’t a fan of Nicole and would probably just try to push him back into a relationship with Ari.

So who does this leave in town for Brady to really open up to? His mother is unfortunately dead and his father is unfortunately not(sorry John Black fans) but something that I learned from this little movie no one has ever heard of that starred Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, & James Caan is that your godparents are supposed to watch over you as well. If only Brady had godparents….OH WAIT HE DOES!!!!! I got home last night and felt like watching cartoons from when I was little(don’t ask me why) so I went to YouTube, somehow I went from cartoons to Days clips and I found a clip of Carly & Bo being named godparents of Isabella’s baby boy, and I thought to myself “Why haven’t the writers even attempted to establish a relationship between Brady and his godparents.” Of course Bo somewhat has a relationship with Brady being that he’s Bo’s nephew and if you count Bo as a Brady they’d also be cousins I guess. But other than a few words in passing and Brady snitching on Victor & Philip during the Kiriakis/DiMera feud, its rare that you get a sense that they are anything more than associates.

Other than being in the same room when Victor & Vivian got married I don’t think I’ve seen Brady & Carly together. I don’t think I ever heard her speak about him or vice versa which is weird considering she’s his godmother. If and when Brady does become a full fledge alcoholic and its time for an intervention, I hope that the writers decide to use CarBo in the godparent roles they were chosen for 19 years ago. It’d be nice to see Carly start to establish a motherly/friendship with her godson especially since her daughter Melanie is already like a sister to Brady. And for selfish reasons anything that can get CarBo more scenes together and bring them closer is something that I’m all for. Plus it’d be nice to see some an interaction between Salemites that we don’t see everyday seeing as how it seems like the town of Salem is split into two different sides and those sides rarely interact with each other.

So even though Brady is an adult am I the only one who’d be interested in seeing Bo & Carly embrace their roles as godparents? And what other interactions between characters or connections would you like to see the writers bring to light and explore more?

I’m really tired of love triangles lately. Yes, I know they’re part of a soap opera’s mode of operation, but I would love to see some couples actually get together and be happy for a while – I’ve been waiting oh so long for this concept to return to DOOL (the happy couple). So, I thought I’d divulge my “wish list” to you – at this point, I’d settle for any one of these unions to come true. And I know half of you will disagree with me and that’s okay….but that also means half of you will agree with me.

1. EJAMI – Let’s have Sami and EJ together already! Sorry, I’m an EJAMI fan and I’ve been diplomatic in my previous postings. But I’m not going to do so now! This couple is THE reason I came back to DOOL full time. I took a brief hiatus after the Marlena possession. I watched here and there in college, but came back to DOOL hard core in the early 2000’s when Austin and Carrie returned to Salem, along with the introduction of EJ. I just love EJAMI – the fact that they are a gray couple, their chemistry is natural and off the charts. I love that they’re not a typical soap couple and it’s intriguing to me that they’re the most popular non-couple on DOOL or perhaps any soap opera out there. They’ve been through a lot as a couple and individually. They will forever be connected. I do hope DOOL allows them to be together for a while – we EJAMIs have been waiting for 4 years. We’re tired of the teasing! They are the next SUPER COUPLE in the making.

2. MATE – Aren’t Melanie and Nathan just TOO ADORABLE? Here is another example of a couple that has natural chemistry – and a reason I stay tuned every day. They electrify the screen and their chemistry grows with each scene they share together. The recent scenes at St. Mary’s, where Nathan saves Melanie are HOT. You know by watching these scenes that these two are FAR from over. We will see them again. And I hope sooner than later. Again, this couple can be a SUPER COUPLE. I think “MATE” says it all for this couple!!

3. CARDAN – Okay, Carly and Daniel are growing on me. The more I see them together, the more I think their chemistry is growing, especially when they are in scenes with Melanie. For a long while, I was dead set against the two of them, but they are slowly growing on me.

4. RAFOLE – Bring on Rafe and Nicole! Weren’t their scenes in the bar HOT? I never would have guessed Rafe could be interesting, but I am digging the RAFOLE vibe. We actually saw some great acting from these two today! These two characters have great potential and I felt a natural chemistry spark between them today. I know that Rafe is only playing Nicole for the goods on EJ, but WOW – sometimes there’s unexpected surprises in the chemistry department.

5. BOPE – Of course these two should get back together because well, they’re Bo and Hope. Their love has withstood the test of time and we’ll see them together again. They’re the sure thing in the couple department. I am ready for some stability from them. They will always have natural chemistry.

6. VICMAG – I’m down with the Victor and Maggie vibe. They’re actually cute.
