Bo and Hope go to the bank with their key. They contemplate whether they should open the safe deposit box.  Stefano shows up with his key and tells Bo/Hope that once they open the box, there’s no turning back.
The keys go in, and the box is finally opened! Stefano has his envelope, Hope has hers.

Madison calls Sami over to tell her she’s decided to pull the plug on sabotaging Kate and her campaign. Sami’s pissed. Sami tells Madison she’ll pretty much be killed if Kate finds out she was involved in trying to ruin her. She wants to see this through.
Sami says she won’t resign from working for Kate. Madison “orders” her to quit. Sami says she’ll quit…working for Madison.

Madison tries to call her secret person. They show the person at the airport…probably on their way to Salem.

Ej rehearses his answers for the debate. Nicole’s concerned that Will knows that Ej got the questions early. Ej’s not worried and Nicole wants to know why…what’s up with him and Will.  Ej changes the subject and says he knows she transferred a large sum of money into Will’s bank account. Nicole’s mad that Will told on her…she tells Ej she quits because she doesn’t like being kept in the dark.
Ej tells Nicole that Will has a secret…that he’s going to keep. Nicole asks what it has to do with Ej. He tells her straight out “what do you think it has to do with me, I’m black mailing him”. I half expected Ej to say “DUH” at the end.
Ej tells Nicole about the time he was shot at the alter, when he was about to marry Sami…everyone was led to believe it was Lucas. Ej says that Lucas took the blame for Will shooting him.
Will asks Ej if he wants all the cards on the table…how far he wants to go with this disclosure thing (Will wonders if he should share the Sami/Ej sexcipades). Ej says if he thinks it’s necessary…Will can go ahead and tell her. Will’s scared…Ej decides to tell Nicole. He says he got Will a new apartment near the town square.
Saved by the phone, Nicole gets a call and steps out. The boys get to talk. Will says Ej shouldn’t have said anything to Nicole about the shooting, makes Ej seem untrustworthy. Ej tells Will not to threaten him, and if he tells Nicole about his indiscretion, it’ll put a damper on the situation.

Will goes home and packs his bags. Sami comes home and sees his bags at the door. Sami tries to get him to stay, and asks him what’s been going on, why he’s been so cold and mean to her.

Nicole and Ej chat. Nicole says it seems Will’s black mailing him (because he bought Will a car, got him an apartment). She asks him what Will has on him.

 Carrie talks to Rafe about a fight she had with Austin, and that Austin stormed out and didn’t go home last night.
Rafe says he’ll talk to Austin and explain things. Carrie says he’ll make things worse.

Abby goes to Austin’s office and sees him sleeping on the couch. He wakes up and tells her things are fine…then says things are definitely not okay (when Abby looks clearly worried). Abby says Carrie’s lucky to have him, and he’s a great guy.

Austin and Abby go to the town square for breakfast. Meanwhile Rafe and Carrie go there as well. Carrie walks up to Austin and Abby “you didn’t tell me you had a date for breakfast”.  As the awkward moment happens…Abby and Rafe go off and chat so the two angry birds can talk. Carrie tells Austin she was worried about him, not coming home or calling. They talk about their issues then kiss and make up.

Sami runs into John and they have a nice chat. She thanks him for the generous gift for Sidney. John asks how things are working for Kate, he  says he’s asking because he cares about her. Sami says things are great but she wishes she was there more for her kids. John re-assures her that she’s a great mother but if she feels she needs to be with the kids more, she should make a decision about her job. Sami freaks out saying she is there for her kids when they need her, and John knows nothing of her life.

Brady and Madison are in bed for half the episode and talk about work. Madison flashes back to her secret telephone conversation “Titan’s a huge company…if that’s what you want me to do, consider it done”.  Brady’s concerned that she may be keeping something from him.

Madison meets Sami on a bench…in public!!! Dumb dumbs. Madison tells Sami that Brady told her about Sami’s complicated history with Kate and the Dimera’s. She says she’s afraid to go ahead with their plan.  Sami tells her she’s risked everything for this, she’s in too deep now they have to see it through.

Rafe and Carrie continue to practice their prince and princess dance. Sami comes back from her work trip early and sees Rafe and Carrie dancing in the pub. Austin also walks in…Rafe and Carrie don’t see them.
Austin says he understands why they are dressed up but wonders what was going on when they walked in. Carrie explains the dancing.

Rafe tells Sami that Sidney is with Will. Sami calls Will…Will says he took Sidney to Ej’s, they’re having a family get together, and says she should come. Sami is fuming (to say the least). Sami goes to crash the party, Rafe goes too…dressed as a blue prince Casper. Sami and Rafe show up and she argues with Ej. Sidney comes out and yells “stop”. Sidney says she wants her dad at her party. Sami asks Ej if he can come for a bit and he says he will. Sami and Rafe leave with Sidney.

Ej asks Will how Sami knew Sidney was there. Ej’s angry…Will says “Did you see how angry she was…wasn’t it worth it?”

Austin and Carrie argue. She says he’s hurting her feelings. He’s angry that she has time for Rafe but not for him. Marlena and John walk in and interrupt the argument. John talks to Austin about it, and Marlena talks to Carrie. Carrie says they had an argument earlier and she was avoiding going home.
Austin tells John that it appears Carrie doesn’t want to spend time with him.

Hope tells Stefano she is ready to open the safe deposit box. Stefano says the secret will ruin her family.
Stefano says he wants to go home…a hamster is more entertaining then them. A hamster at least goes around and around and around.
Bo tells Stefano that he wants to know what’s inside that box as bad as they do. Stefano has no idea what information Alice had on him. Stefano says he will open the box IF he is the only one who gets to see the letter that Alice wrote. Hope says no way, she doesn’t trust him. He says he doesn’t trust her. He says whether the box stays closed or if they opens it, he still wins.

**There is no “on the next Days” today for some reason (there wasn’t yesterday either)

She comes back to reality and decides she wants to tell Austin about working for Madison and her offer for Abby to model. She asks Austin if it’s okay with him if she does this.
Austin says it’s tough for him to think of her as a grownup, she’ll always be Jack and Jen’s little girl. Abby’s offended. Austin apologizes. She says she’s much more mature then he realizes.

Rafe’s hard at work…putting together a tiara for Sidney’s birthday party. Carrie comes to the rescue, she’s a tiara expert.
Rafe gets a call, the price and princess for sidney’s party cancelled. Rafe is now prince Casper, and Carrie is princess Miranda, from Sidney’s favourite tv show. They even have to dance, the magical dance the prince and princess do at the end of every episode.

It’s Sidney’s birthday and Ej’s sad he wasn’t invited to Sidney’s birthday party. He plans to have his own birthday party for her at the mansion and he wants Will to bring the guest of honour. Will says he won’t do it, Sami wouldn’t let that happen. Sami’s out of town with Kate, so Ej talks Will into doing it. He says he’ll ask Sidney if she wants to go see Ej, if she says yes then he’ll bring her. If she says no he won’t kidnap her.

Nicole’s super excited that Sidney’s going over. She says in her heart she’ll always think of Sidney as hers. But she won’t kidnap her again. Haahaha

Ej calls Lexi and asks her if she’ll bring Theo over for Sidney’s party. After some thought, she decides to bring him over for Theo and Sidney’s sake.

Jennifer’s got a plan to switch the debate questions for Ej so he gets the wrong ones delivered. They go to Sidney’s party too.
Abe and Jennifer freak when they find out Will is working for Ej.

Door bell rings…Nicole gets the door and it’s the debate questions. She puts them in a drawer. Jennifer watches so she can switch the questions. Abe goes for it…switches the questions, but Ej walks in.

Stefano meets with Bo and Hope. Hope thinks Alice didn’t trust Stefano with this “secret” which is why she had the box set up so you need both keys to open it.
Hope is ready, time to open that box. Stefano says she’s making a mistake with her judgment, she has no idea how many lives those two secrets will ruin.
2 secrets, intriguing. Hope asks Stefano what these secrets are. Stefano starts to talk. He says he was surprised Alice kept that card (that said she could have Dimera treatment). She was a lot smarter then he gave her credit for. Stefano says he had a favour for Alice. He came across some information on her family that she wouldn’t want gone public. He says Alice had information on him. She never told him what that was though.
Alice came up with a compromise…a safe deposit box, to keep both secrets safe.
Stefano says he’s done his part, they can let sleeping dogs lie…or wake up the beast.

Quinn gives Melanie some advice on getting her friendship back on track with Abby.

Madison and Abby go to see Quinn. Quinn sets Abby up so she runs into Melanie. They have a nice visit, and don’t argue.

Madison tells Quinn she wants to run a campaign using his spa. She wants to use Abby and Melanie as the faces of her new line.
Madison tells Abby and Melanie that she wants to feature friends, real friends. But if they’re on the outs, she doesn’t want either of them. Melanie and Abby want to do this…but they have to become friends again.

Melanie and Abby get some time to talk. Melanie tells her that Daniel left. Abby consoles her and says she’s sorry for all the horrible things she said.

Marlena has a group session with soldiers and invites Jack. He declines but she talks him into it. He walks into the room with Marlena and it seems awkward. The guys (and 2 girls) sit around and discuss their stories and experience.
Jack gets emotional as he talks about his time in the Cave.
At the end of the session, everyone hugs Jack.
