Madison finds her wedding ring in a drawer, and she puts it on. Brady comes to visit. Madison jumps into his arms as he pushes her away. He gives her a chance to explain, he asks for the entire truth…right now. She explains how Ian took her under his wing, he invested in her company at the beginning and that’s how she got started. She said she loved Ian…but he didn’t love her. He was with many other women while they’ve been married. She explains that she was nothing but a trophy wife. Madison says there was one woman he put ahead of all the others…Kate Dimera. Kate doesn’t know about Madison being his wife.
Ian and Kate kiss. She pushes him away and slaps him saying she can’t do this again, she’s married now. She tells him she’s not interested in what he has to offer.
Ian goes home to see Madison and Brady talking. He says divorce is not an option. She’s tried.
Lexi starts packing her stuff. She feels totally and completely betrayed. Abe begs her to stay. Lexi says no, it’s too late. She’s taking Theo, and going somewhere that she can think about things. Abe tears up and says if anyone should leave it should be him. He doesn’t want to disrupt Theo’s routine. He asks Lexi to tell him to stay. She says nothing.
Ej questions how Abe could alter the election results. Nicole doesn’t care how it happened, she wants to celebrate because she knows the recount will show Ej as the winner.
Ej asks Nicole what she did…how did she fix this?
Kate finds a letter from Stefano saying he must leave for a short time.
New results are in: Nicole gets the call. It’s official, EJ is the New Mayor!
Nicole sneaks on the phone “I didn’t tell Ej, but we both know what you did, and now we have to talk”.
