Nathan, you stay OUT of Chloe’s business! He is toying her around and how exactly is he connected to her? No, I do not like that Chloe and Philip did what they did, and I am mad at the writers for destroying Phloe, MY FIRST SUPERCOUPLE!!!! But, Nathan has no business whatsoever to ask Chloe who the father is. He is starting to come off cocky and dare I say it, Rafe status! If he truly cared about her, he’d give her some tough love or better advice than sex rehab!

It kills me because a lot of the newer fans are seeing Chloe and think maybe she needs that! AHHH! Chloe has never done anything out of lust except maybe the whole Daniel situation. Give me my REAL CHLOE BACK!!!! I know that Vivian didn’t force Chloe and Philip together, but it’s called alcohol and Yes, Vivian did a darn good job at manipulating Chloe and now look.

Characters aside, Mark Hapka did a really good job as did Nadia Bjorlin. Finally! We get to see Mark and Nadia use their acting chops!

First off two thumbs up to the wardrobe department for Sami’s top. For a second I thought she was going to spill out of it. Wardrobe department give yourself a pat on the back.

Did Chloe really call Nathan an eavesdropping little punk? Chloe does realize that if she wouldn’t shout her secrets in oublic like she always does then her and Philip would be the only people who about her secret to begin with. I did like when she said she’d toss his ass in the river because it reminded me a bit of the old spunkier Chloe.

All I have to say about the possible Kiriakis/DiMera feud is that when Stefano starts furiously rolling his Rs sh** is about to go down. Stefano will not rrrrrrrrest until he knows who did it. I’m starting to lean towards Arianna as the real shooter.

I also was wondering if Stephanie’s twin had a place of his own because it makes no sense for them to keep breaking into the hospital’s records at her place when Nathan can walk in at any second.

Stephanie & Chloe have obviously lost all they’re common sense because yelling at Ian and Nathan when they have dirt on you isn’t a smart idea.

Something that made me laugh was when Daniel said EJ lost a lot of blood. Honestly EJ didn’t lose a lot of blood, Philip lost a lot of blood when he got shot in the chest. I’ve lost more blood than it looked like EJ did just scraping my leg when I was little.

Hahaha, Ron – I was thinking the same thing today when Daniel said that about losing all that blood!

What great acting from JM – I almost felt so sorry for Stefano. When he said, though that whoever shot EJ would suffer for the rrrrrrrrest of life, I thought: welcome back, Stefano! Love it when he rrrrrrolls those “r”‘s!!!!!!

My hubby said that during the operation and paddle, that “EJ sure has good color” LOL

Wow, Samantha Gene, that was smooth telling Johnny you got him a shiny new Daddy like you were replacing a dead hamster. Although, I still don’t know what’s up with that whole situation. That’s hardcore even for Sami.

I would like to see Stefano volunteering at the hospital as a grief counselor. He could manhandle nurses on behalf of a patient’s family and yell at the doctors while they’re trying to operate on said patient… Gotta love The Phoenix.

That haircut moment felt dramatic to me. Maybe because we’ve been waiting for it, and speculating about it’s significance for so long that it felt like de ja vue, but also, it was awful pretty hair.

Speaking of promises, is anyone else wondering what kind of payback Ian’s going to want for committing a felony for Princess Stephanie three times in a row? She probably should have thought of that.

It’s hard to really root for Sami right now. What are the writers DOING to my Samantha? I hope TPTB justify this to me, because I’m having a hard time liking her – and I thought that’d NEVER happen.

Since it saddens me to see Stefano in pain and out of the respect I have for Mr. Dimera, I am now going to pretend like EJ getting shot is not my 3rd happiest moment as a Days fan. I do hope somewhere in this storyline Stefano says whoever that whoever did this to EJ will rrrrrrue the day they crossed the dimeras.

Hannah, I just watched the clip of Philip getting shot again and comparing it to EJ it just makes me laugh. but maybe they didn’t want EJ getting shot to seem as graphic as it would appear. But it really makes me laugh because I remember one time Chloe threw a textbook at one of her classmates and hit him in the nose and there was more blood in that situation too.

I wonder if the writers are actually going to let Roman really get involved in this case since Hope’s in jail Bo is going to need a partner in crime, unless Abe is going to step down from his imaginary job as the mayor of Salem to help Bo out.

Hannah, in reference to Daniel, a promise is a promise, LOL glad it cracked you up. I always like to mix a few laughs in when I’m crying… (also when I’m not.)

Us Sami fans are being tested right now, are we not? When Sami first appeared on our screens in 1993 I was both a young newlywed (19) and my parents had just gotten divorced. Sami’s parents, Roman and Marlena, were having serious problems at the same time. Through that “shared” experience I bonded to Sami Brady and have felt a sense of kinship with her character ever since, even though I’ve missed pretty big chunks hear and there, anytime I’ve come back to Dool, and this time more loyally than ever, I still feel that connection to the character of Samantha Gene Brady. What’s really hard to swallow with the current storyline is the idea that she could take her childrens’ connection to their father so lightly. (She was willing to sell her “illigitimate” half sister on the black market to keep her parents together…) so to me it just doesn’t ring true that she could be so nonchalant about having “offed” the father of two of her children… Hopefully there’s more to the story.

I was so hoping Chloe would toss little brat-knowitall Nathan in the water. Even better if he can’t swim.

Ron, I TOTALLY KNOW WHAT MOMENT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT!!! A classmate threw an eraser at Chloe and she threw a textbook at him! Classic Chloe! Whoa, you took me back, Bro.

I have made no secret about hating Stephanie and everyon she has ever been paired with but I love Ian. Not a fan of his hair but he is a good actor and cute and he has chemistry with Shelly. I would love for him to not turn out evil but have an edge to him. It’s obvious he has a thing for Steph and he is just the kind of guy to maybe make her interesting.

Ron you have to get your sympathy for EJ under control even if its only for the big teddy Bear Stefano. I might think someone invaded your body like they have Sami’s and you are acting totally irrationally. You hate EJ Dimera and this is your wet dream. He is not only shot in the head it happens after he is utterly humiliated and destroyed as a person. you got your payoff so savor it while I cry in my beer. Sami looks like she is glued into her tops even if they are pretty revealing so I think your dream of a wardrobe malfunction won’t materialize

Joan, I know I should be relishing in EJ being shot but Stefano’s put a damper in those plans because I feel sorry for him which I didn’t anticipate happening. But now that I think about it, I guess I should enjoy this while it lasts because happiness doesn’t come often for me in Salem. And while I’m thinking about it I’m not glad Daniel got cheated on by Chloe and that the kid isn’t his because he’s the one that saved EJ. There I said it….I feel free now.

I wrote down some notes while watching the replay of Days yesterday. When Rafe disabled the Dimera security cameras 2 years ago, did anyone ever bother to re-activate them because you could probably find out who shot EJ that way.

I know a lot of people are saying how its hard to root for Sami right now the way she’s acting, maybe its just me but shooting someone and hoping no one finds out doesn’t really seem out of character for Sami to me. If anything it seems like all her past crimes have been leading up to the moment where she finally tries to kill someone at point blank range(and fails).

Should Sami really be offended that Bo asked her where she was when EJ got shot. As a cop in Salem the first thing you are taught is that when a crime is committed the first people you go check out are the Dimeras, the Kiriakises, Kate, Sami, & Nicole because 9 times out of 10 one of them is guilty.

When Lexie & Daniel were telling Stefano that it would take a few days to find out if there’s any permanent damage to EJ and Stefano said a few days is an eternity I laughed because in the soap world a few days is an eternity. And I can’t remember but I think yesterday might have been the first time I’ve seen all three doctors in the hospital at the same time.

I rarely see commercials advertising Days, but when ever I watch Days on Soapnet I notice they always sneak in a couple of GH advertisements that are centered are Kristen Storms & Jason Cook.

Renae, just read your post #50 on “The Darker Side of DOOL” and don’t I feel silly? Just because Sami was traumatized by her parents splitting up (as I pointed out on comment #9 on this thread) doesn’t mean she’s not going to turn around and do the same thing to her kids. She’s famous for doing just that! When Sami was young and felt like her world was falling apart, she did CRAZY things to try to fix the situation… to feel in control of her out of control world. That is, like you said, Renae, “classic Sami.”

anyone else get a chuckle out of Bo calling the Dimera mansion a fortress…give me a break,. What happened to Harold and it seems to me that just about everyone waltzes in unannounced and then we have Nicole stealing money from EJ’s room . I think it would be harder to get into Nicole’s pants than the Dimera mansion. Did Rafe dismantle the security system..would it matter since no one ever monitors it even after a major crime happens. I think he has a bug in that stupid penguin that;s what I think

Is it a forgone conclusion that Sami shot E.J.? Rafe’s reference to her nightmares suggest that maybe she just dreamed it, and that could be why she was so rattled when Bo questioned her.
The fact that Nicole had a new body guard could open the door for her being a suspect, no?

Also there is a new clip on NBC for those who doubt that this story is about Ejami or think Ejami is over.

While I don’t think that Ian is actually Owen in disguise, I do remember Owen’s dad looking at a picture of Owen and his brother and was talking to himself about Owen saying why can’t you be more like your brother. So it would be kind of funny if Ian turned out to be Owen’s brother.

Renae – I just watched that clip at NBC and there is NO DOUBT in my mind that this story is about EJAMI – EJAMI FOREVER. They cannot be broken apart for long. They are fated to be.

Alicia E – I hadn’t read your post on this thread when I wrote that so hope you know I wasn’t referring to you specifically. I am seeing those kinds of comments I listed many times over on many different sites and it has just had me so baffled. It as though everyone has forgotten who Samantha Gene Brady is. I came across a clip last night where she pulled a gun on John and was going to shoot him to “protect her family”, I had actually forgotten that one. But her treatment of Lucas and her actions with regards to Will are seared in my mind forever and I just see them all replaying on a grander scale in this current SL.

I would looooove to believe that this has all been a means to an happy end for Ejami. But, Ken Corday sounds pretty well set in having Rafe and Sami paired from his interview quotes. I don’t get it. Just like True Blood with Sookie and Bill. Yuck!Anyone who has read those books knows that the anti-hero Eric is Sookie’s true love not (too good to be true) Bill! EJami/Safe is the same thing. KC needs to understand that chemistry and momentum should dictate story lines. Not the producers own personal preference. It’s enough to make one pull her own hair out by the roots! Rafe and Sami just aren’t exciting. No matter what they try to do, it doesn’t sizzle. Safe IS NOT where the bacon is. I want fireworks between my soap couples. Big, Scary, Beautiful fireworks! Safe=black snakes. Dull, dull, dull. Does anyone else find it disgusting the way Rafe is trying to insert himself into the role of Daddy with another mans children? It’s disgusting. Sami is a horrible mother! By the way Caroline Brady is an idot. A doddering old fool. OK enough of my rant.

You helped me realize that I was painting Samantha with my own brush. Every coin has a flip side, and there’s always more to the story… I think I missed out on a few of Sami’s nastier deeds… Thought the first couple were bad enough. lol But wow, my sweet Sami is even worse after that!

All of a sudden, Stephanie is reminding me of (I think you’ll appreciate this Nathan) Columbo. Her and Philips’ interaction today was really funny; Made me want to buy her a beat up trench coat.

katsmommie, I think that, to a degree, at least, (this is my diplomatic pause…. wait for it, wait for it, …) Ken Corday is full of poo. He loves to have two burners on the stove, and he knows and we know which one is dinner, but he loves to tell us how good the other pot smells, and how good it’s simmering… will say no more because it’s never wise to insult the chef.

Just caught up on the past 2 episodes. Do not recommend vacationing in a cabin with no TV or wi-fiduring major storylines! Is it me or did Sami and Rafe look like a cople of vultures at the hospital? Amy, I totaly agree with you Sami looked guilty as sin, you would think with her track record she would be able to BS her way when BO made the big announcement.

Did anyone notice that Rafe is bossy when Sami had the news on and he took the remote out of her hand and says” no time for this–have your coffee” or something to that effect. If she wants to watch the news with her coffee let her.

Did anyone else laugh thru the operation scenes? they are worst than an interrogation by the Salem PD. One one nurse, 2 doctors and an anesthelogist, for major surgery such as this would there not be more people in the room? I knpow DOOL is experiencing budget cuts but come on– a couple more extras wouldn’t hurt.

oh I forgot, how can Rafe (Mr. Clueless) alibi Sami when he was so busy hugging a pillow and did not notice he was not clinging to a warm bod.

Nathan, I thought I was the only one to fake illness when I wanted to see an episode of DOOL. Nuns are a little harder to get around but doable. Success rate 3 out of 4!!!!

That was back when Greta and Austin were kind of flirting, and Sami was 100% jealous and the teenagers were in school, which is how I remember the clip that Ron linked everyone to. You see, in those days, we didn’t have Tivo or DVRs. So, we had no choice but to skip school (Hannah, I hope you’re covering your eyes!). LOL. Good times.

Nathan, I thought the Greta and Austin thing was super cute But I also liked her with Eric. The “Garden of Eden” thing was a little wacko, but I suppose that’s what happens when someone who isn’t JER tries to write like him….instead of super-amazing crazy, it’s just plain crazy.

Aww, now you got me wanting Greta back again I really did love anything and everything about the Princess Gina storyline. 100% without doubt my fave DOOL since I’ve been watching.

Nathan, I’ve faked an illness a time or two to watch my soaps Waiting those extra 1-2 hours till I got home to watch my taped version just didn’t feel like a possibility during major storylines! Luckily Passions always did their major reveals during the summer for us school kids. DOOL though, I remember faking illness during the Gina storyline. Luckily my mother never cared if I took a day of here or there…well, at least as long as my grades were A’s
