LOVE a good mob war, but doubt they can do it as well as General Hospital.

I love the idea of Jan coming back. She was crazy cool. I also love the idea of an all out mod war.but I hatethe idea of Will being Stefano and Chad being Lucas. I don’t want any more baby switching. Enough with the baby switching. Other than that you got some cool ideas.

really great ideas, ideas like these are why ive been a fan for over 20 years, i dont really care with one choose cause i know you will do a great job,theres no other soap would ever watch. you are doing such a great job keep it up.

All grand ideas — with all due respect, I’d leave Jan Spears out of the picture. But the rest of them? Tasty. The “pure eee-ville” of the DiMeras is part of what got me watching in the first place, in the early 90s. So I’d love to see ‘em return to form.

That first one is a great one; the rest are all typical Salem. However, Brady getting a dark side would definitely be interesting and give him a pivotal role. The Brady-Nicole seems interesting as well. I am glad that they are bringing Jennifer back and a return to Brady-DiMera clash would really heat things back up in Salem. I am getting sick of all the backbiting – not as exciting as mafia drama. I am tired of the Hortons being all goody toe-shoes – let get into the mob business as well- maybe Mike Horton.

I love the idea of Jan Spears waking up from the coma.

I think there is a big support for the gay storyline of Chad & Will falling in love..

One thing that was running through my mind since the Synapping came out was….didn’t Victor and Stephano have a short heart-to-heart @ the Brady Pub during which Victor said that if he finds out who kidnapped/killed Sydney, he would make that person pay (I think it was during the time they thought she was dead). I kinda liked the Vic/Stephano truce conversation. Now that we know it’s EJ, I guess maybe that all flies out the window?

I would love for Jan Spears to come back with a serial killer. Like she could come back as a new nurse or something (totally rehabbed) and la, la, la, la, la, everyone begins to trust her (except Victor, but hey, who can blame him I mean after all her and Nicole tried to do him in). All the sudden ppl start turning up dead around town. It will turn out Jan’s NOT the killer (Meredith is) but Jan and Meredith have been working together ever since they met in the psych ward and realized they both have enemies in Salem that they want to get rid of. What’s better than a little teamwork?

On my Days wish list another Kiriakis-DiMera war in either #2 or #3 on my list. And I really like number 1 and number 5 on your list of ideas. If there is another war I hope this is one where the whole town is involved because I hate how it seems like half the town only gets involved and we start seeing some different interactions with characters that we don’t usually see.

Sarah, I love all your ideas and I think we’re long overdue for a mob-feud. I think EJ’s shooting is an indication of that as well – I smell a rat on that one – I think perhaps Victor is behind the shooting IMO, again referencing KarenM’s post about the Victor/Stefano conversation at the pub. Remember Rafe told Victor at the beach that he strongly believed EJ was behind the killing.

Love the Montagues and Capulets type family feud that could divulge. What a great storyline DOOL developed and then dropped. It was one of the more entertaining storylines in quite some time!

The whole baby-switching. Tired of it. So, ideas #s 2 and 6, not a fan, but LOVE the other ones. LOVE the idea of Jan coming back. That crazy lunatic. I’ve wanted her to come back since she hit her head on that rock! Meanwhile, @Marlena–I’ve been such a huge advocate for a Chill (Chad/Will) pairing. I think it’d be fantastic.

Sarah, always love your imagination and creativity. However, I think the remaining soaps need to settle in their greatest strengths and brand. GH has the mob stories covered.

Jan Spears character was lost in the Caged Bird Sings _Shawn D Brady her persoanl love slave — many years ago. Jan was an all purpose comic book villain from thecage to the burning of K mansion and attempted murder of Vic K. She has had her day as a minor Days evil character — give real villian sl to mega stars like Louise Sorel and even Alison Sweeney who are already on the payroll.

I don’t think I’ve ever disagreed with you Libby, but I think DOOL could pull off a mob-feud if they did it correctly, but someone other than DH would need to be in charge of the writing to pull it off. I, for one, enjoyed what they were building between Victor and Stefano – it was entertaining as I’ve mentioned before.

Sarah – wouldn’t it be such a relief to EJAMIS if Victor was behind the shooting? I still don’t believe Sami is the shooter – I think it was made to look that way and I do believe that Sami believes she shot EJ. If you think about it, the Victor/Stefano conversation on the pier, along with Victor’s plans to send Vivian away b/c the deal between the family has been broken, suggests that something is awry. Additionally, I think the fact that Rafe went to Victor to solicit his help in seducing Nicole for the evidence provided Victor with the upper hand and the motive to strike. He knew that there would be a multiple amount of suspects in EJ’s “murder” (which we know now is only attempted murder or suicide): Sami, Will, Rafe, Roman, Nicole – others? What a perfect opportunity for Victor to extract his revenge – he’s always had hostility towards the DiMeras for Philip’s injuries.

I agree, if they accuse Victor of the murder, that would get Sami off the hook, but I still think they would keep her with Rafe. However, you never know, with Days.

I would love to see Jan Spears back. Days lacks a good villainess!

In my mind, it is possible to raise the rivalty between Kiriakis and Dimera family – without full out mob wars. Maybe it is like the old strategy from the 1980′s. Just last week – Stefano started talking about the DiMera Yacht – have not heard of that vessel since the early days of stefano in the 1980′s. Please could Sheri Anderson be coming back as HW?? Please.

Victor and Stefano could have been laying low — and bc EJ has been in a coma/ dream state — Vic and Stefano have had to interact more without EJ’s role of mediator and truce maker. Seems like EJ and Victor had a meeting ages ago about creating the truce.

It could also be that Rafe is Stefano and/or Andre’s pawn and they have had him in the back and forth of these family dealings. Remember – Rafe went to have several conversations with Steffano back in early April — late March. They seemed out o the blue. Same for intermittent meetings with Rafe and Victor. maybe he has been playing both sides in a spy /ISA caper.

Just think this fall will be character and event focused – surrounding the theme of forgiveness, redemption – there is a lot to resolve with just EJ, rafe, Sami and Nicole. and Bo, Hope and Carly…

To me if there is a renewed rivalry it will be a sublot of sorts OR a secondary storyline B or C . Jsut my opinion.
