Sami will forgive EJ eventually – it might take some time, but she will. Yesterday’s scenes were some of the most phenomenal we’ve seen from JS and AS. WOW! I love it when EJAMI fights, loves, plays – I LOVE IT ALL.

And I have to say….SHE WILL! Remember they are cut from the same mold. She totally gets why he did what he did. She’s deceiving herself if she thinks she didn’t conceal her pregnancy for revenge – hm, Sami – remember how you were so upset when EJ and Nicole got together? Seems like that sealed the deal in your head, sweetheart. So, they both acted from the same motives. When EJ is shot and he is on death’s door, she will realize just how much he means to her. She’ll finally have her awakening, just as EJ did. EJAMI will always be intertwined in some way. My Word, they had more chemistry in their fight scenes yesterday than SAFE ever did in the bedroom! EJAMI will be back – we’ll probably have to wait for it, but it’ll be well worth it!!!!!!!

Not for a long, long time. The real question is will EJ forgive Sami? Also, I can’t wait for today’s eppi! Unfortunately I have to wait till it’s posted online tomorrow Maybe if I can make myself look sick I can get out early from work….. j/k, though I’d love to do that!

ITA Hannah – They MIRROR (9/2) each other in everything they do and have since day one. And it was laughable that Sami said it was all about protecting her kids “from this place, from this family” Where are all her kids including Ali living? Great scenes by JS/AS as always.

My guess is that Victor switched the results because he’d rather Chloe just screw up one of his boys live’s than both Daniel & Philip

I’m hope there’s a twist with vivian’s storyline, like maybe she accidentally buries the wrong person, like Arianna and once Arianna is rescued, she decides to leave Salem because its too crazy(though I’m still mad she will no longer be around) but at least she goes out with a bang, and it gives Rafe involved in a different storyline because i’m getting tired of this whole love triangle thing. I despise ejami but if them being together means the love triangle isn’t going to be drug out another year then so be it, that’s what the fast forward button is for.

Looking forward to seeing what’s going to happen with Nicole, I think right now she’s the character I’m most intrigued by. And once again Victor & Nicole prove why they are 2 of my top 3 characters on Days. Victor had me laughing my ass off but I was feeling sorry for Nicole at the same time. I don’t know what it is about Victor, but his words can make me feel sympathy for people I normally wouldn’t. He has me laughing while feeling sorry for the person on the other side of his words. He’s even had me feel sorry for Vivian at one point while laughing at her at the same time.

Sami won’t forgive EJ anytime soon, if ever. These 2 work much better as enemies than anything romantic.

Kelly – EJ and Sami have never been enemies if you trace back their relationship over the past 4.5 years. Sure, they’ve been mad at each other, but not true enemies.

Ron, I almost peed myself laughing so hard at Victor’s scene with Nicole. It was brilliant and I LOVED it. I love Victor’s character more and more each day.

Renae, Yes, there are inconsistencies in Sami’s argument. EJ called her out on many of them in those AWESOME scenes yesterday. But, I think she’ll reveal a few of his today. LOVE EJAMI – they are the best.

Hannah I saw today’s episode last night so I was aware of what was put out there. I do hope at some point they have Sami admit it at least to herself.

Oh and it’s a lot more powerful seeing it w/o interruptions which there are none in this clip.

Renae – I think Sami WILL recognize the hypocrisy in her reaction to the Sydnapping. Once she gets past the hurt(because she is clearly more hurt than anything), she will remember her original sin comment she made on the beach right before accepting EJ’s proposal. I think that scene foreshadows(don’t pass up an opportunity writers) that she will eventually forgive EJ and they can move on. The only thing we don’t know if how long it will take.

E.J. gives new meaning to the phrase, “the best defense is a good offense”!!!! Jeez, he almost had me forgiving him. However, I hope Sami doesn’t cave and forgive him (at least not right away), because what she did and what he did are two totally different scenarios.

I feel like my brain is playing ping-pong…one second I’m in Rafe’s camp, the next I’m in E.J.’s camp. Right now…it’s Rafe for me. I thought he handled the situation really well and showed restraint, particularly when he left w/out a fuss when he was told to leave.

I was thinking the same thing about the “original sin” comment when I watched yesterday’s show!
(Then I had the inxs song playing over and over in my head….I guess a much better substitue than my kid’s Dora songs in my head!)

ITA Hannah. I think there has been a lot of forshadowing going on the past few weeks. Things that were said that seemed insignificant that now make a whole lot of sense.
As someone else stated on another site, pay attention to Rafe in the next few weeks. As hard as it may be for some of us to watch him I think it will be very important to see what he says and how he acts and pay close attention to both. I think there is a lot more going on here then any of us realize.

I think that there was stuff we didn’t see in that entry way. I think she believed Rafe and maybe just maybe Rafe expected her to stay and not leave with him because it was planned for her to get EJ to confess to her directly. For evidence. I started thinking about how Sami was not as ballistic as I would have expected. She almost seemed to be leading EJ to confess. And restraining herself a lot. Just a theory.
And I will miss Doctor Baker! That character was true entertainment.
I think Daniel switched the tests. But maybe just maybe it was Melanie, she is a pretty good sleuth. Carly is too obvious. Daniel is my first bet.

Renae, ITA with you. Thanks for posting that clip. WOW was that good, albeit sad to watch as an EJAMI fan. Rafe popping up like a puppet on a string at the Mansion was quite funny to me – it was awkward to say the least.

I’ve questioned Rafe since DAY ONE. I’ve always thought there was more to that story than anything. I still say (as I stated in my article post “Bada** Rafe: An Addendum) he is somehow connected to Stefano. OR perhaps now that I’m thinking about it – VICTOR. So, I think it’s important to watch him. KC stated in a recent interview that there’s another surprise with EJAMI/SAFE in November. One can only hope it outs RAFE! EJAMI forever!

While the reveal happened in a diffferent wiay than I anticipated. Alison Sweeney and James Scott gave the best performances of their lives !! And we have seen some great scenes between them.

I LOVED the scene where EJ totally goes off on Sami! It showed the breadth of JS’s acting ability. Anyway, ever since Ireland, Sami and EJ are destined to be together. They will eventually forgive each other (hopefully soon) and get on with “all the days of their lives” . . . Go EJami!

I think that Maggie is going to get out of town and that Sami will somehow get into the sarcophagus, and EJ and Rafe will have to team up to find her. OK, so that is a bit of a stretch, but I do think that Someone NOT named Maggie will be interred in the sarcophagus resting on the pink pillow . . . mayhap Victor? Carly again? Melanie? Oooo that would be good.

Just a side note – Loved how Kate’s blue hair matched her Step-Mother-of-the-Groom pantsuit! Still wondering why a 50ish woman has blue hair. At least she isn’t sporting the black middle fingernail polish anymore. Is she in a punk-diva band?

Totally – believe that Philip switched the results!! — as Sami would say “just totally” Finally, I agree with Jabie on something!! Almost always agree with Amy — but on this one…I am confident…for this Friday. lol

Now that’s what I’m talking about! AS and JS at their best. What a relief to have that secret out after all this time. I had to just sit quietly for a bit after watching these scenes. God, they rock.

Dr. Baker was Hope’s hero today! I didn’t know whether to call him an idiot or ask him to marry me. (All I know is that he has to come back to the show. He just HAS to. Nobody doesn’t love Dr. Baker.)

I’m starting to get why Bo wants to make everything his fault. Hope is completely vulnerable right now… practically smashed to bits… and he’s looking for any way he can to save her. And since for the moment, there’s nothing else he can do, he takes the blame on himself.

I’ve been enjoying Victor’s Greek mythology lessons (explaining to Brady why Nicole was a Chimera) so I thought it was extra funny yesterday when he told Vivian, “I have come to accept that you are what the Greeks call… crazy.”

Stefano and Kate and Nicole… MORE PLEASE!

It’s like Sami said. She was being a good parent. She was trying to get her child away from that coocoo bananas family and EJ had agreed that Stefano and Co can sometimes be not all that great. So, let’s not blame Sami in that regards. Still, I think that EJ kidnapping and making everyone believe that Sydney was dead is MILES worse than Sami keeping her pregnancy under wraps. Most of the time, she was in Witness Protection anyway. AND THEN, Grace wasn’t even his baby to begin with. It was Sydney afterall! He was with his daughter. If anything, Sami’s the one who lost time with her daughter thanks to Nicole and Dick.

Also, Vivian and Gus. Gus is such a smartass with her and I love it! His line about how she tried it before and how it didnt’ turn out all that great (or something to that extent) just made me laugh. And the fact that Vivian is either ignoring his comments or is actually unaware of his sarcasm just makes it that much better. There are some great spoilers I read about DAYS, but I’ll refrain from posting them. They look good. If you want to go check them out, they’re at the DAYSCafé site. They’re usually right when it comes to spoilers.

Renae, thank you, I’m gonna watch it when I get home I do love EJ. I watched the daysahead clip on prevuze, and I feel sooo sorry for him when he tells Arianna, “I don’t need help, I need hope!” She gave him this amazing look. Ugh, I hate the writers for getting rid of LH >(

Those were some POWERFUL scenes, really and truly loved the whole eppi. I wanted to reach through the screen and grab EJ and tell him everything would be okay, but at the same time I just wanted Sami to say, “Screw you EJ, I’m taking the kids and leaving!” It’s sad but after years of being a total Sami fan, I need a break….maybe her and Rafe can take the kids to Disney World for a month or two. I would be appreciative.

I saw the video you talked about…Let’s just say Sami Does Not forgive Ej. It would be crazy stupid if she did.

What is Eppi? Wow, Days is in a really good place right now. Comedy writing is awesome with Victor and Dr.Baker, Ej and Sami, Hot, Hot, Hot. Ej is son so sexy, he has chemistry with everyone but love his with Sami. They complete each other. Maggie, finally some good story for her. She is like a nicnac people like to pick yp and look at. Now she is off the shelf and in a story. Nicole, totally enjoy her. The raw feelings between Hope and Bo are so heartbreaking and you feel so much for both of them. If anyone ever left DOL for any reason, now is the time to come back.

Haley – Wow I don’t see how anyone couldn’t at least have a little compassion for Ej. If he hadn’t felt sorry and hadn’t tried to make up for it then yeah I’d understand. He did just pay, he lost everything he loves most, everything worth living for. I would feel sorry for any character in that situation, heck I even felt sorry for Stefano despite the fact he was acting like a selfish bastard at the moment.
You are right Safe is coming and all your Safe dreams are about to come true next week so enjoy it while it lasts.

Alicia E I too wonder what happened to Ivan. I don’t know maybe it just my strange mind but I always got the feeling that Gus was Ivan and Vivian’s love child.

It felt like Brady put salt on my poor broken Bricole heart today. Why Brady? Why? You know you love her.

As for Sami forgiving Ej, it won’t happen soon but it will happen.

I really wish Baker wasn’t leaving but I do have hope he’ll be back. He’s loved way too much not to come back.

Jennifer M, I think that if Vivian had a child with Ivan, that child would be the object of her worship. Like the way your “strange mind” works, though… and almost nothing is too strange for Days. – Gotta love it!

Why does Dr. Baker have to leave? That’s crazy…John Callahan is excellent and hilarious. I hope Sami never forgives EJ, and they continue this feud for years…thats what makes them so exciting to people, even though I want SAFE! It will be happening finally, thank God!

I cant wait to see Kayla back in Salem in the next few weeks. I always liked Mary Beth Evans I think it will be a very interesting fall for the people of Salem.

Meanwhile, it’s hard to have conpassion for EJ because even though he says he’s changed and isn’t evil, he keeps doing crap that suggests otherwise. Okay, I get it. People are mean to him, boohoo. He’s gotta grow up. I’m not saying that Sami is a saint either. God no. Far from it. I don’t feel compassion for her for anything anymore either. It’s really hard to have compassion for them when they tell EVERYONE that they’ve changed and then do crap like this. They’re not convincing me that they’ve changed at all. They’re acting like children. Except they should know the different between right and wrong. I get that this is a show, but these are also just my opinions.

If we were to have a dramatic line of the day I would nominate this one – ” I sat in that morgue for hoouurres, hoouurres, Samantha, with that little girl, thinking she was my daughter… I looked at her little hands and her little feet… thinking about how you kept her from me… that I would never know this girl.” That line just floored me. Anyone else?

AliciaE – Oh YEAH completely floored by that statement. I rewound that fight scene from yesterday’s epi at least 3 times. It was so touching. Also, I was touched today when he told Sami all that he wanted to do is wake up every day next to her. Sniff, sniff!

Hannah, If I were Sami, I’d be tempted to fall straight into those big brown eyes and never come out… HE LOVES HER AND SHE LOVES HIM AND WE KNOW IT…ARGH… but she has been made a fool and will need time to absorb and make sense of what has happened… I get that… (a little.)

AliciaE, I get it too – why she needs to process what happened and to decide if his intentions were altruistic and authentic. BUT I found myself saying “I forgive you EJ” for Sami! WOW did he ever plead his case so sincerely! LOVE EJAMI – they will be back together – we will just have to wait.

haha I know but I thought that CarBo scene was soo cute, all cuddly except for the mention of Hope and the dream. Oh and that word sarcophagus, at first it was funny then it was odd, then back to funny, and Her talking about maggies hair and the pink pillow too funny, gotta love Vivian.

If any of you are a glutten for punishment like I am head over to NBC and watch EJ’s Sadness clip. Made me cry and the second half made me sick to my stomach. If anyone still thinks Sami is a changed soul to good for Ej watch Next weeks weekly preview. Both these clips take place Monday and Tuesday of next week. I know some don’t like spoilers but for those who do or need time to prepare yourself like a lot of us have, you may want to check them out. I saw the 9/2 complete episode a week ago when it was leaked and I am still trying process it. Chilling stuff coming up.

I really don`t care about Ejami as much now, I personally think Ej deserves better.

Alicia E This is how I think Gus could be Ivan and Vivian’s child. Ivan being so in love with Vivian he took one of her eggs around the time she stole Kate’s. Knowing that he could never win her love because she was so into Victor at least he could have a part of her. Ivan get a surrogate. The baby is Gus. Gus wanting to be close to his mother become her hired help but he just doesn’t know how to tell her. This is just the story I came up with because I miss Ivan and Gus reminds me soo much of him.

Jennifer M, sorry, that sounded rude… There’s one more obstacle to your theory, but it’s not impossible to work around… When Vivian and Ivan left the show, he had won the lottery and they “rode off into the sunset” together. I had to look it up to be sure I was remembering correctly. But that doesn’t mean that it couldn’t have happened before that and gone wrong. Maybe the surrogate kept the baby and Ivan didn’t know how to tell Vivian what had happened…

Renae, I don’t feel bad for Ej for the simple fact he brought it on himself. He never cares a lick about the people he hurts. Sami told him she can never trust him again because every word he says is a lie and Rafe pointed out that EJ has lied to her from the first word he said. Both of them are right. I’m not going to feel bad for someone who did such a horrible thing and has had EVERY opportunity to come clean months and months ago. IF he had walked in with Sydney that day in the pub and told Sami at that MOMENT what he had done and why it would be different. But NOOO even with Rafe holding the evidence in his hands he was still denying! AND as Rafe pointed out Ej’s main concern was that the tape was inadmissible in court—or being “found out”. AND if you recall before the wedding EJ was boasting how he was planning to keep Sami as far from the Brady Bunch as possible——again, all he thinks about is what HE wants. Well, what he wanted has reached out and bit him on the butt and it’s a great payback.

Haley, I agree with you to the degree that EJ should have come clean WAY before this week. It wasn’t until a week or so after he brought back Sydney that he truly realized how much he was IN LOVE with Sami. That spurred on his mission to make it up to her.

Now, I don’t agree with you when you stated that he doesn’t care about hurting people – of course he cares – he just doesn’t show it as easily as others. BUT you could see how awful he felt about hurting Sami – he was wounded because hurting someone he loves hurts him. So, at the time when he acted hastily (just as Sami has done in the past) he didn’t think about the ramifications (which is what happens when we act before we think) – it was in the process that he had his epiphany that this was the WRONG thing to do. If only he had just come clean on his own!

He mentioned the fact that it wasn’t admissible in court because Rafe is FBI and nothing freaks out EJ more than losing his children. His lawyer lingo was coming out there, but I believe it is children-focused. He knows Sami better than Rafe – he knows she’ll punish him where it hurts – threatening to take away his children.

He was talking to his FATHER when he was boasting about keeping her away from the Bradys – BECAUSE HE ALWAYS FEELS HE HAS SOMETHING TO PROVE to Stefano. Maybe in part his pride of “winning” the girl has come out, but I think he was stating that to gain the acceptance from his father because he knows Stefano hates Sami – but he can smooth it over by bringing up the Bradys and their never-ending feud.

LOVED when EJ called out Sami on all the awful things she has done and that SHE OF ALL people should understand why he acted the way he did. AND SHE DIDN’T REFUTE THAT. As much as my EJAMI heart is breaking, I enjoyed the excellent writing and acting in these scenes.

Renae, as much as I’m tempted, I can’t watch the EJ sadness clip. I cry at least once during every episode lately, especially if it has to do w/ the kids…my oldest is going to Kgarten next week, and I’m totally trying to surpress my emotions right now, lol!

As far as Sami goes, I don’t think she’s a changed soul as much as she is a lost soul. She and Nicole really do have quite a bit in common.

KarenM – my oldest starts KG next week, too! I’m filled with all these emotions and I, too, cannot bring myself to watch the EJ sadness clip, either and I’ve cried this week during every epi as well.

ITA with you KarenM about the fact that Sami is a wounded soul – a lost soul. She and Nicole are really kindred spirits and could be each other’s best friend. But I don’t see that happening!

I think Sami and Nicole make a better pair of friends than Nicole and Chloe, but I agree I don’t see Sami & Nicole being friends any time soon. Although…maybe they’ll bond over the fact that they both had not-so-good experiences w/ E.J.? Perhaps a stretch….

Haley- at first I thought Ej was an utter fool for denying it after Rafe said he had proof and still after Sami said Rafe and Nicole had been together. He should have confessed right then. But then I realized how desperate he was not to lose the one thing he has always wanted a family with Sami. He didn’t tell her sooner because he feared losing his kids. Totally wrong, I agree he should have told her a long time ago and yes he deserves her wrath. Ej is truly sorry and has clearly tried to make up for what he did and I think it sad that Sami intentionally tried to hurt him so deeply and I feel sorry for anyone who loses everything and is clearly hurting. It does no good for Sami to continue the retaliation especially when they have children to consider. I know she is justified in doing so but what’s the point in continuing the vicious cycle?

I didn’t feel his main concern was being found out he was just responding to what Rafe said and letting him know it wasn’t admissible he knew he was going to pay in the worst way and said so. I felt bad for Sami to when her heart was breaking every time her secrets came out over the many years even though she deserved it I still couldn’t help feel a little sorry for her pain and loss. I also felt for EJ because since the day he arrived he has always loved Sami for who she is and stood by her when everyone else turned their back on her. He accepts her for exactly who she is and sees past all her crap, he is sensitive to her needs and her suffering (when he’s not the one inflicting it) and has always dropped everything to be there for her. He believes she loves him and I tend to agree, but she keeps denying it and treating him the way her family treated her.

KarenM – don’t worry about it – I’m still learning, too. ITA = I totally agree.

Haley and Renae – everyone has lost in this situation – both Sami and EJ, but they share the same common thread: they brought it on themselves!

Alicia E your never rude and even if you were you know I wouldn’t think anything of it. Ivan and Vivian did leave salam because he won the loto but really what happened after that we don’t know? Why did she come back with Gus and not Ivan? I just think they could do a whole story about what happened to Ivan and maybe it comes out the Gus is really Vivian’s son. Its just my own crazy ideas. I know it most likely won’t happen but hell I didn’t think my wish about Chloe and Philip coming back together would happen and look she’s having his baby.

Jabie, you hurt me. What I don’t like is that the show isn’t giving CARBO a chance. That scene in the bed was heart breaking because Bo goes to Carly for comfort but she was hurting from what he did in the courtroom. I do not believe Bo had a “fantasy” of Hope… it wasn’t sexual, sensual, nothing. It was a dream of guilt. Hope was saying “help me” and Bo wakes up and is next to Carly, that was GUILT on his face… He looks at Carly, loving this woman BUT he is racked with guilt over what happened to Hope. Personally, I don’t believe Bo should feel guilty but that is just the kind of guy Bo is. Bo love Carly very very much but I think they are pushing BOPE back because they think that is what the fans want. I do agree some fans want it but not all fans. More and more fans have been switching from BOPE to CARBO or joining the show to watch CARBO, which means larger fan base… in some case CARBO has even beaten EJAMI and SAFE in alot of stuff (that’s HUGE! Cause EJAMI fanbase is like Ginormous!)
I just wish the show would give CARBO a chance. Just like Amy said, they need to bring back that love story that was in 1.0 time, they need to show that true love that Bo and Carly have. I have never seen Bo happier, he is so much himself with Carly and it needs to stay that way. I won’t stop fighting, neither should anyone else!
