Just watched the whole thing and wow–what a smart, funny, down to earth fellow james Scott is. I knew he was, but seeing this really reinforces my already good opinion of him. Proud to be a fan of this guy.

Thanks for posting the interview. I have had the pleasure of having dinner with James three times, acted with him on stage in front of 500 people, and met him at nine events. I’ve really enjoyed talking with over the last three years. He is a really nice person, and whenever you speak with him, it’s always a respectful and interesting conversation. When I went to Greenville last month, it was my first event in a year and James remembered my name and where I was from, and I thought that was really cool about him. He respects his fans, and he loves his craft. I enjoy his portrayal of EJ the most on Days. I think it’s awesome he gives it his best performance and it’s great to be passinate about your work, unlike people who just collect a pay check. I wish James and his fiancee all the luck in the future. I am glad that I have been able to meet James, Brandon Beemer, Eric Martsolf, and all the great people from Days Events. Thanks again for posting.

I met James at this year’s Daytime Emmys and he was very nice. We, too, briefly said Hi but I did get to tell him from the balcony that he was robbed of an emmy. He just shrugged his shoulders and extended his arms. It was really cool. The one person I didn’t get to meet was Arianne Zucker, I sooooo wanted to meet her because she really was robbed and took Nicole to a whole other level. I hope I will meet her some day.

Learned that getting arrested for being naked on the beach was true. Read it someplace on the internet but I don’t believe everything that out there.

So, he’s renovating a house, I would have liked to know if he’ doing any of it himself.

He is genuinely excited about his storyline coming up and it’s great to see. Interesting that he would love to work with Louise Sorel, Crystal Chappel or John Aniston. Characters do tend to be in their own orbit of a storyline, and if they could find a way to intersect it would be interesting.

What’s with the background music? Was it playing in that empty room?

Thanks for posting this. It was fun! I enjoyed hearing him talk about meeting Stephen Fry. The show he mentioned was “Jeeves and Wooster” if anyone wants to check it out. It’s a comedy series and also stars Hugh Laurie.

James Scott you’re soooo handsome & gorgeous! Please don’t leave DAYS! or if you are, I hope you come back around, make other appearances, or make a movie, be in a SUPERHERO MOVIE! oh yeahhh!!! ;D

Does anyone know where the Day of Days event is taking place in November?

Funny that the ppl he mentioned he would like to work with are to me, three of the best actors on the show. I’d add KA and of course JM (but he works with him all the time).

I want to see more scenes with him and John (Victor).

I feel like James Scott is really giving a special thank you to all his fans and the overall fans of Days of Our Lives.

This storyline is certainly a rollercoaster – with ups and downs — or maybe I should have said Highs and Lows.
He really seems to express in his anecdote about Stephen Fry – the way it has felt for him meeting all of his fans and Days viewers.

I went to my first fan event in June. It was so nice to meet him – an actor on my tv screen or computer five days a week. I hope I will have a chance to see him and tell him in person how much he entertained me and my family. He is awesome and very tEJ talented. I hope EJ and Sami have the second chance in some way.

I encourage all my fellow Days comunity members to go back and view his interview again – he is as open as I have ever seen him in a casual setting. It would not surprise me that he really thought out and prepared how and what he wanted to share with us for a lot of reasons.

Also, one of my favorite Sheryl Crowe songs is playing in the background through interview — at times it is almost a distraction. But it made me pull up the awesome lyrics and read them in relationship to Days and “EJ and Sami’ and James Scott. If you have time and are curious why dont you pull up the lyrics and read them, too.

Love James Scott and BOY did he shell out some stellar performances this week. LOVED it even though my EJAMI heart is breaking!!!!!

I think I love all the actors when they do interviews. They all seem so likable. I know if I ever had to interview anyone from the show it would be like chirs farley from SNL. I’d go James remember when Ej made love to Sami and he told her he loved her, ya that was great. This was a better interview than one I would have done. thx for posting it.

Jennifer M, OMG! so funny you mentioned Chris Farley. Long ago, I had a dream about getting to interview him. I knelt before him, in admiration, holding a gallon jug of milk. No idea what that means to this day, but it SOOO cracks me up that you just brought him up, LOL (O.K., so I did have a crush on him) but still.

Jennifer M, that would be one of my too- much -information moments… and it’s not even a holiday.

Congrats on doing a fine job for us watching. This is the only soap I watch. My mother started confusing real life and soaps so my sisters and I each took one to monitor! She has passed on but I still watch from time to time.I usually figure out the plot a few months ahead and check back to make sure I’m right. I must say, the writing has improved from the days of dragging out every little detail over and over again as each character gets the news about the latest blunder. You have made the show more interesting,too. Please, You need a better wardrobe! (I have a feeling you personally are a very conservative dresser or just don’t like to bother with clothes.)
You spoke about not wanting to have the bad side of fame in your life. I think it can be avoided, but for me, that’s why I did not pursue acting. I have two close friends from high school whom I acted with that have managed to keep alot of privacy in their lives, even though they are very well known actors, but it has been work. I think you are smart to be wary and find satisfaction from day to day. Thanks again for a job well done!
