So, do we think Stephanie is going to change them to say Daniel’s the father right before Carly gets the print out? And…will Rafe decide not to spill on EJ when he see they are married? Hmmmm!

Your kidding right? Sami actually make it down the aisle…really? Raf will get there just in the nick of time, after he convinces her that nothing happened with Nicole and actually manages to shut her up from ranting and raving. He will tell her, show her the proof and arrest EJ. While Will or Roman try to restrain her from EJ. Then as Nicole becomes Stefano’s next target, Brady will get back on the wagon and save her butt again. But, …this is just my opinion.

Hey Amy I was thinking the same thing I think that would be great if rafe would play that CD admission during the wedding so that EVERYBODY could hear it I mean Abe is there and so is Roman so I think that would be the perfect time.!!! E.J is going down!!!

From what I read – the wedding was orig scheduled for November. When they decided to accelerate this part of the story — they may have already released the orig twins. Also, NBC or Corday has engaged JPI, prof photographers, at events and important celebrations for Days. They may not have wanted photos with the orig twins so soon bf introducing the new twins playing Sydney. I have a link to the pictures of the new twins. They look older tahn Sydney and very much like Johnny. I think these twins will be old enough to talk — and they look strikingly like Johnny. So, I dont Days will go back now and say that Sydney is not EJ and Sami’ s child together. Amy – will send you the link to the pixs.

someone else has mentioned this in the past – maybe Jabie : I really dislike all of the characters talking or thinking to themselves to reveal info to the audience. It seems like a short cut from really playing out the scenes with dialogue and nuances. I guess it is a sign that they are accelerating the story and I am all for that!!

Nicole is a very interesting character – even more so since she returned around 2008. I flet very sorry for her – Rafe seemed pretty smug to me — and pretty cold. I dont think the tapes would be admissable in court based on how he obtained it. Wonder why he did not go get a search warrant and backup after he took Nicole home. Then, the proof might be considered legal. What a joke with taht recording from Nicole — couldnt she have engaged counsel bf answering the questions on tape. Plus, how can Rafe offer her immunity. I discussed more of this in the comments of the previous recap.

Still hoping this all a bad dream that EJ or Sami will awaken from — very soon. All of these stories are very sad. The happiest seems to be Maggie and Vic’s romance — and as you discussed Viv is planning on burying Maggie in a sarcophagus in that one.

That was the worst days wedding I can remember and as an Ejami fan felt very ripped off. So much was lacking. But Ejami is not down for the count. I think Safe will be short lived and Rafole is soon to be.

I really felt for Nicole you could tell she was in a vulnerable place and she had just told Rafe she struggled to trust. That was just low and I was surprised how cold he was afterwards.

I hope the baby is Phillips.

EJ is going down and Stephanie will get caught getting the paternity results changed and lose everything. Nathan will be so disgusted with her and throw her out. Then Mel will tell Philip that they are through. She will yell at him about Chloe. Nathan will head to Maggie’s and find Mel kicking Philip out and Nathan will comfort Mel. Stephanie will try to convince Nathan that she had no idea that the guy was gonna change them. The truth about Stephanie will come out finally. Sami will listen to the disc and have her dad arrest EJ and Stephano, EJ will say that he loves her and was doing it for her.

You guys, have you not heard the big leak on the big twist. I gota say, the rest of the story lines just can not keep my interest at all. I want to know what happens with EJ and Sami.

Jabie, I’m going to have to respectfully disagree with you. I thought Rafe was a jerk for what he did. Nicole is a tortured soul and he used her. He was telling the truth about her and her past and he just brushed it off as if that isn’t true. I hope he falls in love with her. And people wonder why she doesn’t trust people and is screwy. I love love LOVE Nicole! She is one of my favorite characters and I hate the writers torturing her. I, too, felt horrible for my dear Nicole.

I am sure you know it is the biggest news ever on some sites breaking posting records. I have not seen the episode (did you?) it got deleted be4 I could but I read it and OMG!
I have been so frusterated with the whole Ejami thing the past 2 weeks but after reading that I think I get what the writers have been doing and I don’t hate them as much LOL!
Ejami definately is not dead, not that we ever thought they were. I will be rivited to Days for the next 3 weeks, screaming, crying, hating some characters but still rooting for EJAMI! Someone else said “Ejami are like the Phoenix – they keep rising from the ashes.”

I so don’t want EJ to get busted. I can’t stand Rafe as it is…..annoying on Passions and annoying on Days. Sami and EJ need to stay together. As for Stephanie, she’s such a needy whiny baby. Waaaaaaaa, she might lose Nathan. Who cares?! Nathan and Melanie belong together. Phillips just a prick. LOL. I hope the babys Daniels, who would want a kid with phillip?! Watch…..might not be any of theirs!! LOL

FINALLY storylines are coming to a close.

Renae – You and I are on the same page – I agree with EVERYTHING that you have said. If the projected “twist” is true, I tend to agree with you that the writers have been writing for EJAMI all along. EJAMI can never die – they’re the sure thing for DOOL.

Nathan, I agree with you in regards to Nicole. Like Amy said, I tend to identify with her – she is such a wounded soul and I am ready to see her character redeemed as long as she still has her clever wit and can scheme to a degree. What Rafe did surely reveals how smug he is. However, I think there’s something there – I think he will realize how much he does have feelings for her when she needs his protection from the DiMeras.

Hope Phil is the daddy…Chloe and Phillip belong together. I cannot wait until Rafe exposes EJ. let’s hope that means a SAFE reunion finally. So sick of the scenes w/ EJ and Sami. As for Nicole, she needs to get even more involved in another scandal. The writers are taking her so far, and she needs to cause more chaos in Salem. Ms. Zucker deserves that for her character.

Did you see SOD at all? Apparently this is Sami’s 11th, ELEVENTH!, wedding. Probably means Rafe will be #12. Can I just say that’s a ridiculous # of weddings. My guess is that is more than practically everyone else on any soap ever.

Oh, Amy I just saw they were sorasing Sydney on the Days board on NBC.com, which I think linked to daytimeroyalty.com or something. What can I say, I have little to do at work at times which leads me to surfing the internet for Days related info, lol. I know, it’s sad, but what else is there to do in a cubicle 8hrs a day when you really only have work to do for maybe half that time?

Libby, I didn’t know they were originally planning the wedding in November. But I guess it makes sense (nov sweeps and all). Can I just say I am SO glad it’s been moved up. This Sydnapping storyline has been going on WAY too long. I was over it whenever Nicole got arrested the first time. I was soo glad it was over. When Nicole took her the second time I couldn’t believe they did that. Ridiculous. That was too much for me and I think it’s what drove a lot of viewers away. The never-ending Sydnapping placed front and center on the show for, what has it been, 2 years?

Libby, I guess the change in the timing of the storyline accounts for some of the general “weirdness” we’ve been experiencing lately… (i.e. the abrubt shift in Sami’s romantic allegiance.)

AliciaE, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride for us until this EJAMI storyline gets resolved, although I’m so glad the Sydnapping reveal is out this week – it should have been resolved back in April at the latest. Now the strange, fragmented writing of the past two weeks makes sense now, considering the timeline of the sl has been moved up a couple of months.

Again I can’t get away from the atrocious writing and character development for Sami. Sami just isn’t indecisive. Sami of old would have pranced right in on RAFOLE and broken up the sucking face that she saw happening. She wouldn’t have walked away even if she were engaged to EJ! I mean, she barged in on EJ and Nicole’s wedding for crying out loud! She knows her mind -she knows she loves EJ for more than just the children – she needs to admit it to herself. I truly hope that the sped up sl accounts for this Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde Sami and not a sign of things to come.

Rafe took liberties with his job and I think if it were EJ doing the same thing, he’d be ostracized – just sayin. Anyway, the door has been left wide open with this sl. Nicole WILL need his protection in the future and we’ll see more scenes between RAFOLE.

Dolly, I’m glad you pointed out that Rafe is more shady than everyone would like to identify him – he’s no hero in my book. He is more self-driven to fortify his own ego than to actually protect the woman he claims he loves.

Hannah, I think you finally said what I was thinking. The worst part is I didn’t know how to express what I was thinking. You are 100% right. Rafe is definitely self-driven to fortify his own ego. Even when he was “trying to get Sami justice”, it just didn’t really seem like he was doing anything for Sami at all. I do not like the way he treated Anna, who in my book, is a beloved character. I hated that he broke up the friendship between Anna and Caliope. And of course, I’ve said all I needed to say of his treatment of Nicole. I don’t know, I can’t root for Sami and Rafe either. Bring back Bryan Datillo and I will definitely root for Lumi! I loved them!

I didn’t see Rafe as being all that horrible to Anna or Nicole. He is doing his job (even if it is for Sami, it’s still his job). I did feel badly for Nicole, but she also places herself in those situations. And, I thought Rafe was somewhat compassionate under the circumstances, after the truth was on the table. I agree there is still potential for those two to get together.

I hope that Stephanie does not get to change the paternity results in time, and I hope Phil is the dad. Just don’t like Cloe and Daniel together. And, once the thruth is revealed that Phil is the dad, there’s alot of drama involved in the crumble of that house of cards.

As far as Viv, I did find it odd that Brady was randomly visititing his mom, and then Vivian starts in on doing something more elaborate for her… I love Victor, but I’m getting tired of the Maggie and Vivian junk. The only thing that could be interesting in terms of Victor and a love interest in my opinion at this point is Caroline.

Nathan, I knew we were kindred spirits! I just don’t care for Rafe’s character. AND if I HAD to choose between LUMI and SAFE, I’d pick LUMI any day of the week and twice on Sunday. And that’s spoken as a true EJAMI fan. BUT EJAMI all the way over all. I just stated what I did to drive my point home that SAFE is a dead horse that we’re beating over and over.

The more I watch Rafe the more I miss Luis. Sure I call him names everytime I watch old clips, but that’s just b/c he stupidly picked Fancy. Luis was just better, imho. He was more in-touch with his feelings, he knew what he wanted and went after it, and he just had more romance in him. He would NEVER do what Rafe did to Nicole. And sure, he had an ego on him akin to Rafe’s, but he was a good guy through and through. I don’t remember him ever doing the wrong thing or intentionally hurting anyone.

Sorry for the slightly OT comment, I’ve just been trying to figure out why I loved Luis so much while Rafe annoys me at times. I mean, let’s let Rafe drop all his ulterior motives! If he hadn’t been trying to trick Nikki, those scenes would have been gold! Instead I wanted Brady to come bursting in and drop kick his butt.

Karen M. I didn’t think Rafe was horrible to Anna. That was definitely just doing his job. But I did not like the whole Nikki thing that just happened. I mean, he would have slept with her to get at EJ. And believe me while I totally want the Sydnapping out and EJ away from Sami, I felt that whole thing Rafe did to Nikki was extreme and painted him in a bad light.

KatieR, I agree it was kinda slimey for Rafe to start sexin up w/ Nikki, but I guess I never really believed he’d take it any further than the “make-out”. He would have stopped it I think.
I really like Nicole and I do feel for her. It’s crazy, after all that she has done, she’s able to elicit empathy.

Out with the Syndapping already, right?!!

Sammy looked beautiful, but I thought the dress looked more like a bridesmaid or prom dress.

Karen, Yes, please end the Sydnapping, I feel like this has been going on forever. And I don’t know how Nicole makes me feel sorry for her but she definitely does. I think it’s just AZ. Plus this whole thing started b/c she lost her baby and those scenes just made me bawl. Plus it helps that at the moment I’m liking Nicole more than Sami. Like, if it had been Shawn trying to get something out of crazy-Jan Spears to help Belle I probably would have been rooting for him. Just the circumstances I suppose.

In any case I am looking forward to seeing what happens after the reveal of the Sydnapping. I’m looking forward to seeing EJ-Sami-Rafe in a different, fresh storyline.

Nicole is by far one of my favorite characters on the show, there are very few people I like more than her and if it weren’t for my inability to feel sympathy towards the adults of Salem, I’d probably feel bad about what Rafe did, but in my book 99% of the time the adults have brought whatever problems they have on themselves and Nicole is the perfect example of that. Plus its also refreshing to see a somewhat competent person in law enforcement in the town of Salem. If this were the Salem PDs case they would’ve forgotten about it by lunch or until Theo & Ciara solved it for them.

Unless there’s a death involved chances are I’m not feeling sympathy for anyone in Salem. And even when Grace died I couldn’t really bring myself to feel a lot of sympathy for Sami, Ej, Rafe, or Nicole(though I probably felt a bit more for Nicole than the other 3 since she already lost a baby). It might be because I don’t really think Grace is actually dead, though I did feel sympathy for the rest of the family.

I really didn’t have a problem with how Rafe treated Anna seeing as how she is not only a criminal, she’s a criminal that has the FBI involved. If Anna only wanted a slap on the wrist, a dirty look, and have to stand in the corner for five minutes she should’ve done something that only got Salem PD involved then she could’ve just got added to the stack of Salem unsolved mysteries.

Im just so happy Sami did not marry EJ,I loved watching Roman and Will’s reactions to all the commotion.

Rafe’s job requires him to do some pretty harsh things. I had the impression that he would have slept with Nicole if that’s what it took, but what redeemed his actions to me, was that he didn’t relish it. He was definitely struggling with himself over whether or not to do “the deed.” (I wonder if the FBI has any guidelines regarding the use of sex and snuggle parties.)
At least I can take him off my list of suspected secretly evil guys. (Until proven otherwise, I now consider him to be no more or less trustworthy than any other Salemite.)
I would have liked him to show a little sensitivity the next morning, because even though he was doing his job, things got personal. I suppose he was pretty stoked to finally have the proof he’s been bustin’ his backside to find for so long… but still. He could have shown better manners.

I more I watch Rafe that more I hate him. Rafe is no Luis. I don’t think he was trying to find out who did the kidnapping because he loves Sami. If he really loved Sami tape or no tape he wouldn’t be letting her marry Ej. She even asked him befor the wedding. He would have also trusted Sami and told her what he was doing with Nicole. Safe has no trust. I really wish the even after the reveal Sami would tell Rafe to shove it. I wish she wouldn’t forgive him for kissing Nicole even if it did get the truth because he didn’t tell her what he was doing.

I do wonder who the father is of Chloe’s baby. I really think it could go either way. But I do hope its Philip.

Will was 2 year old when Lucas found out he was his son.

Jennifer M, I agree there is a serious lack of trust in the SAFE relationship, and both sides are to blame. But I do think Rafe would’ve been a fool Sami to tell what he was up to before having the proof on EJ. No one is going to convice Sami that EJ hasn’t “changed” without proof. Plus if he told her he was going to get the information out of Nicole, chances are her emotions would’ve got the best of her and she would’ve either shown up to where Nicole & Rafe were. Either that or she would’ve done what she’s done on at least two previous occassions and that’s blab something that Rafe has told her not to tell(which is why I blame Sami more than EJ & Nicole for the Sydnapping/baby switch because she kept feeding them all the information they needed on what Rafe was doing).

Awesome show this was!! I loved the Racole kiss! Arianne and Galen are my favourite actors on Days, and I would love to see Racole happen, if possible.

I see a lot of people blame EJ for his demise, but I’m sort of on the fence with this one. Sami, Nicole, and Stefano all played a hand in EJ’s downfall. Sami was the one who lied in the first place against Sydney because she was jealous of EJ and Nicole. Sami jumps around between both Rafe and EJ, and she is kind of irritating to watch right now. I don’t agree that EJ kidnapped Sydney, but it’s kind of tiring to see all the blame put on EJ and Sami seen as a saint. She has way more issues than EJ. I wish the writers would solve them.

Love the new Stephanie! She is awesome! Shelley Hening is a very talented actress and deserves a great storyline. I am still feeling Melanie/Nathan and Stephanie/Philip though.

I also hope the baby is Phillips. Carly and Daniel get together. Stefanie is beautiful and a schemer, just like Phillip, match made in heaven. Sick of the sammie/ej deal. He needs to be revealed, it’s been, what, over a year now? Hope and Bo are over, I hope, thet are sickening….. Roman and Marlena left, so should Bo and Hope.
I pray they don’t let this paternity test keep on continuing. Cloe….what a slut, she needs to be outed for the liar and tramp that she is.

Also love Nicole, been kicked around all her life. Her and Rafe would be wonderful, him turning her life around and making her decent. Brady doesn’t know what he wants… Belongs with arianna….although I also would like to see her and ej together, flirting and sexy…great chemistry. I hope she receives more air time.

Ron they are both to blame in the lack of trust. I know I wouldn’t trust a guy who wouldn’t tell me how his fiance died. I also wouldn’t trust Sami knowing her history with lying.
