This saddens me as well. I’m actually shocked. I think she’s a wonderful actress…right up there with A. Zucker/Nicole. I think there was great potential there and now I wonder where this will all go…Why do they get rid of good ones? I want to see more Kim/Shane, Jen/Jack, just more of the classics would be nice!

Ew, Chloe and Nicole. What a shame. I did enjoy this character. I will admit at first I was bugged about casting Lindsay Hartley in the role because there were already two actors from Passions on the show and she had previously been the ‘sister’ and the ‘girlfriend’ to those two guys. I thought I was gonna feel like I was watching Passions instead of Days. But she did turn out to be believable as Arianna and I’m sad to see her go.

That really is too bad. Why not get rid of the actress who plays ‘Stephanie? She would be better off doing commercials. I’ll be sorry to see Lindsay go.

Yes, very disappointing. My wife and I watched Lindsay blossom as an actress from Passions to DAYS. I have been watching DAYS for probably 30 of my 37 years and nothing shocks me anymore. We will never know what happens behind closed doors for them to make decisions like this. I saw a lot of promise for Lindsay/Arianna. What a shame.

This sucks big time… why Ari.. I liked her, The writers never let any couple on Days that you want to see together, get together.. now she’s gone… typical…… Why not Stephanie, I don’t like her storyline with Nathan!!! Mel & Nathan will never get together until Chole’s storyline comes out about the baby.. It will take another 2 yrs like the Sydney storyline to actually all come out…. I’m so starting to hate Days… drags, along and no one is ever happy!!!!! and storylines drrraaagggg allooooooog…lol

I don’t understand what they are thinking. She’s great! I definitely don’t want to see BRICOLE…can’t stand her (the character, not the actress). It’s getting to the point you don’t know who is who any more. I’ve been watching Days since day one…. not happy with the story line……

I liked Lindsay Hartley and I am very sadness to see her go. I liked Ari with Brady a lot better then than I do with Nikki!!

…such is daytime….I wonder why now….in the middle of the story line….pls say Nicole wont win Brady on this one….hopefully re cast her…though I do love Nicole…but hate to see her win….I think the show is over populated in general….and could use a trim…the writing has been good but SLOW these past few weeks/months….pickup the pace…

Just read about Ari,I figured they may put her with EJ ,but take her off,stupid,are they wanting everyone to stop watching Days ,so the ratings will go down so much they can end it or WHAT !!! Wake up Days “writers”.Get rid of bad ones let America ” choose.

I liked the first Ari waaaay better than this one. I won’t miss her at all.

This saddens me and Im in total shocked. The wonderful actress Lindsay Hartley has not yet fulfilled her position on Days as the character of Arianna Hernandez. The writers of Days should reconsider their decision on letting Lindsay go.

I cannot believe this. What a tragedy! She is the BEST Arianna ever, and her story line was JUST getting GOOD! I would LOVE to see her and EJ together. She is a WONDERFUL actress. She was the ONLY reason I watched Passions…. Wake up Days. You are loosing your fans quickly…. These story lines are boring me. The whole Chloe/Phillip/Daniel story line is SO OLD. Let it go already! Wake up writers, KEEP ARIANNA!!!!!!

I have to say I’m a little indifferent on this one. I did like her with Brady – I thought they had chemistry, but I am relieved that the potential Ejanna will not happen, as I am a huge EJAMI fan. I wish her well, though and I do hope she finds work on another soap because she has great potential as an actress.

I am really sorry to hear about Lindsay. I loved her as Arianna. Lindsay and Eric had awesome chemistry together. I also loved the interaction with Arianna and Rafe. They really seemed like brother and sister.

I really think Days must be hurting to let a terrific actress like Lindsay go. She will be truly missed.

I’m so sad to heard that. I loved her as Ariana. I Follow her since Passion’s. Her and Eric had a great chemistry. She had a great chemistry with Rafe. Why they did that. She will be truly missed.

I LOVED Ari and am very sad to see her go. She was a phenomenal actress. I miss the original Belle and Shawn too. Days disappoints me when they let the good ones go.

I loved her in Passions, and was so happy to see her on Days, why are they getting rid of good characters and keeping others? I see they killed off Chad’s mom (which she was on Monday nights Lie to Me the same day she was killed off) It is total crap, is Bradey going to end up with Nicole?

Move out bumbling Bo and nauseating Hope . . . and send Carly anywhere else you can.

I never paid attention to the first Arianna, and when Lindsy was cast I liked her better but I still was not riveted by Brady and Arianna. I just figured they paired them and had them in bed a lot for the Passions fans.

But I did take notice of her when she did a long scene with her little sister in the pub and they seemed to have a warm family relationship. That’s when I started to warm up to the character. They put her in EJ orbit a bit and they looked like a possibility. Then they put her with Nicole and I liked the feisty side. The character has possibilities.

I wonder if it’s budget cuts. The show seems to be hurting, with simplified repeat dialogue to get through shooting 7 days worth of scenes in 5 days. Plus all the product placement they’ve done lately.

I’ve loved since her days on Passions. She’s not only beautiful but a fantastic actress! I was ecstatic when she joined the cast of Days. She will be greatly missed. I hope and pray that this does not mean a reunion for Brady and Nicole.

Too bad for the actress in this economy but her character is a bore and she doesn’t have enough chemistry with the others characters/actors so i just don’t care !

All she does is whining and crying, please i am glad to see this useless character go.
But i wish well for Lindsey Hartley and her next projects.

I disagree with you Amy : Ej doesn’t need to be saddled with a boring character like Arianna ! Moreover in all their scenes all i watch is a little sister with a sick crush for her big brother lol So cool apparently it will not happen.

Frankly, I wish they would get of HOPE. I just don’t like the character anymore. Ever since she got all weird on Bo after Sierra was kidnapped, and left him, and now this split personality thing, she just isn’t Hope anymore. I like Bo much more with Carly now. I really like Arianna, and Brady was good with her. They are also ruining Sami, she is not the strong, take no prisoners person she once was, and she is so good with Rafe, but they haven’t given them a chance. I think this show is slowly becoming a travesty. And while I am at it, did they have to make yet another Dimera love child out of Chad? Geez!

I am getting so-o-o tired of all the characters leaving. It’s no longer the DOOL tha I have come to know and love. You have good actors and actresses on that are really quite good. Oh I’m sorry, they are the one that you are taking off. Is Sammis, Hope and Beau next. That would be the finale!!!!

I have called NBC expressed my anger. I will not be watching this soap ever again. Makes you think about James Scott contract. Plus this whole ejami thing. Will they or won’t they. Ej and arianna are the ONLY reason I started back watching this lame ass soap. Well I guess this is how the ejami fans felt. I will be calling and writing. Good luck LH. Keep your head up.

Does this mean that Rafe will be next to go? If so, that is when I stop watching this soap. If anything, they need new writers anyway. If Daniel and Chloe fight anymore about getting married/not getting married, I am tuning out. Getting sick of them, tooooo.

I don’t know who will be next, but there is speculation about Rafe, Gabi, and EJ. EJ seems the least likely of the three, but James’ contract doesn’t extend for that long. He’s down to about 9 months on it.

Pretty soon the only ppl left in Salem will be Stefano, Bo, Hope, and Victor. The only set left will be the DiMera living room. The entire show will consist of the four of them, in that one room…..

About time Arianna is leaving, she was a snoozefest! I’m sure Lindsay is very sweet, and is sucks for her to lose her job, but I definitely will NOT miss Arianna.

Lindsay was mis-cast as Arianna, too much of a “Passions” gig, which made her so unpopular as a character. Lindsay can do better anyway, find a gig in primetime or something!

Plus, Bricole have the best chemistry by far.. maybe the show will wake up and put them together.. FINALLY!

Deidre Ej and Arianna never got together, Ej doesn’t care at all about Ari in a romantic way, the guy is a flirty type of guy and Ari has a little crush because she sees him as a hero (but he lied to her…) but that is all..Ej loves only one woman and it is Sami she rejects him or not so really they were the ONLY reason you watch this soap ?! Pretty weak reason …lol i kid but seriously their story is not really important and it is just a way to reate conflict with Rafe, Sami, Brady and Nicole.

Oh please the Hernandez family (worse than the Ramirez..puke) is a waste of time and we saw them on-screen instead of the vets, the interesting and complex characters who have rich ties and history !! So finally a smart move from the TPTB ! HOURRAH ! Now get rid of Rafe and Gabby and bring back Jack, Jen, Belle, Shawn…

Laura, whether you know it or not, Lindsay has a big fanbase too. While some did not follow her to Days for various reasons (mostly the fact that it’s another soap and we all know they’re on the endangered list), Lindsay has many fans out there. We are devastated with this sudden turn of events.

The doctor you did talk about KatieR is here for some epi that’s all. So he is not a replacement for some vets whereas LH/Ari is in a front-burner storyline where a vet could have this air time.
And i did not talk about the LH fanbase (i am sure she has one, she seems pretty popular from her previous soap) i talked about a pairing fanbase it is not the same thing..you know James Scott has also a strong fanbase as an actor and for his character of Ej outside of Ejami and the same can be said for Ali Sweeney and her character of Sami..the fanbases they have individually are also big.

I was so happy to see Lindsey take over the role of Arianna. I am so sad see her go and it would kill me if they let Rafe go as well. I don’t want to see Nicole hook up with Brady, that would be lame. As others said I am sick of the Daniel/ Chloe/Phillip/ Carly storyline and I haven’t liked Stephanie since she broke up with Max.

I know you were, but it’s harder to distinguish between EJanna fans and Lindsay fans. Many who came onboard for Lindsay did stay because of the possible Ej-Arianna pairing. So for someone to say they came b/c of Ej-Arianna, very possibly it was truly b/c of Lindsay at first and then Ej-Arianna second.

I can’t say I’m sad to see her go. I did not care much for her. I prefered the other actress playing Arianna (Felicia Terrell).

So I just got home not too long ago and immediately had to kill two spiders. That alone should’ve let me know that bad thigns were on the horizon. Then I got on my computer just to charge up my mp3 player. And since I was already on the computer I got on the internet for a bit. And after a bit I decided to check out DaysTalk, and I see this news. It literally feels like the air has been taken out of my sails.
In a time where my interest in Days has been wavering, hearing that Lindsay is no longer going to be on the show is not really something I needed to hear. I forgot to record Days today and right now I got to say that after hearing this I’m not really concerned that I forgot to record it. The repaly comes on Soapnet in about 45 minutes, but at this moment I can’t say I’m eager to watch know that starting today basically starts the countdown for no more Lindsay on Days.

Fans of a possible Ejari pairing being above all Arianna fans : i think it is pretty obvious..it was the same story with Ejole and Nicole..maybe because Ej is an interesting character and JS has charisma..
For Sami it is another story..Sami fans actually are pretty all over the place : some love her with Ej , other with Brandon or Lucas (although die-hard Lumi fans are above all Lucas fans) and even Austin, Safe fans are above all Rafe fans so it depends..for Ejami i would say the majority is above all Ej fans but it is pretty equitably actually (they are also lot’s of Sami fan first/ AS fans in it..).

Oh Ron I knew you’d be as sad about this news as I am. I admit when I first read this, it felt like an April Fool’s Day hoax. What happened here? It truly makes no sense whatsoever.

LINDSAY KORMAN-HARTLEY WAS A BETTER ARIANNA HERNANDEZ THAN Felicia Terrell. Felicia Terrell was a snooze fest as Arianna. When I heard LINDSAY KORMAN-HARTLEY was joining DAYS OF OUR LIVES I was overjoyed. LISA do you watch wrestling if you do not start JILLIAN HALL & VICKIE GUERRERO HAVE THE MOST TERRIBLE VOICES IN THE WORLD I HAVE HEARD SO FAR. LISA you are just jealous of LINDSAY KORMAN-HARTLEY. I started to rewatch DAYS OF OUR LIVES when I heard that GALEN GERING, LINDSAY KORMAN-HARTLEY, & ERIC MARTSOLF were joining. If LINDSAY KORMAN- HARTLEY leaves who is next. There is a list of characters I would get rid of. I bet I could write the show way better then the people that write the show right now.

Can I just also add that I am really disappointed with the female characters on the show except for Melanie. They have been such downers and whiny. All these men on the show are in love with them for absolutely no reason.

Melanie is spunky and has great one-liners. Molly Burnette is luckiest actress on the show. More smart-asses please! “Tis the season bitch!” Love that line.

I am so glad for her. She is going to a better place.

Lets face it… if you’re not a Horton, Brady, Dimera, or Kiriakis – you aren’t going to make it on the show. Except for those that have been apart of these families for so many years (Chloe, Nicole, etc) Those families are the backbone of Salem.
I love Arianna, Lindsay is a wonderful actress. The chemistry with Brady & Nicole is awesome but I have to say that unfortunately, I’m not very surprised.

To add more of my 2 cents… if any of the Hernandez crew had to go frist – it should’ve been Gabi, not Ari! I can’t imagine what more of a storyline she is going to hold more so than Arianna.
I agree that they have started to bore me with the Stephanie/Nathan, Chloe/Daniel, Carly/Bo, etc storylines but I really don’t believe those characters will be going anywhere. Also, my opinion is that they are all excellent actors/actresses – the writers are just doing a horrible job of bringing out their potential!

I am not surprised, the writing is on the wall. Arianna was my favorite hernandez so I am kinda sad that she is leaving. I wish it was Galen, no offense to the actor butthis character sucks. Ari had so much potential, I was not supporting her and Ej but after the recent scenes I wanted to see them together for awhile.

I think Lindsay kinda knew,judging by her EMMY interview, she seemed unsure about her character. The biggest mistake the writers did was making her a love interest for Brady, it seemed like they were trying to reunite a old flame because Eric and Lindsay characters were together on Passions. I would have gotten rid of alot of characters besides her starting with Roman, what the heck is his purpose? This sucks for Lindsay, but she is really talented so I hope so goes into bigger and better things.

If it’s a recast, I hope they bring Felicia Terrell back in as I was really enjoying her as Arianna. She played her with a sense of mystery about her.
Then they brought in Lindsay Hartley and she had a totally different take on the character which I grew to enjoy as well (recasts are always so awkward at first.) Lindsay’s version of Arianna is very spunky and straightforward.
I’m sad to hear that she’s leaving. And I’m sad for Ron and KatieR, and all the other big LH fans.
Lindsay is a great actress (and singer) and is very beautiful. I wish her well on her next gig. Who knows, maybe will be seeing her back in Salem before we know it.!

Thanks Alicia E. I’m still in shock. I went from not being able to watch DOOL quick enough yesterday morning, to yesterday afternoon wanting nothing more to do with them. This definitely woke me up. I’m not really sure what will happen at this point. I may stay after she leaves, but I probably won’t. The only other person I really and truly love on this show is Louise Sorel/Vivian, and villians rarely stay too long on this show (other than Victor and Stefano of course). So I don’t expect them to keep her around forever either.

I personally doubt they’re going to recast the role again. I’d guess they will either kill her off or more likely just have her leave town. And if they do kill off Arianna, my bet is Nicole will have some sort of hand in it.

Don’t worry KatieR Louise Sorel/Vivian is much more popular than Arianna/LH and she has a far more rich history with core characters so if they want to write for her she will stay for a long time.
p.s: and IMO her character is so much more interesting than Ari, needless to say that she is a far better actress and much more charismatic, of course it is just my honest opinion.

Hello everyone! I have never posted on here before but when I found out Lindsay was leaving, I was sick to my stomach!!! I have been watching Days since I was a little girl and watched Passions for all 8 years and she and Eric were my favorites! When I found out my 3 favorite characters were joining Days it was like having the best of both worlds. I can’t believe they have done this! I tried calling both DOOL hotlines and the mailboxes are full…hhmmmm wonder why??? I hope the writers see how stupid taking her off is….why not get rid or Gabi or Stephanie…both are pointless actresses! As a DOOL fan of 27 years, this may be the last thing I can take!!!

It seems lot’s of people are mad because of their bittersweet love of Passions and the character LH played on it but not really for Arianna the character..it is maybe the problem this character was just a failure..Lindsey will find another job and hopefully a better character to play.
Dool is not Passions guys, lot’s of us would prefer to see Dool core characters on front-burner storylines.

Lindsey was definately an improvement over the first actress cast for the role and I loved Lindsey as Teresa on Passions. But I did not like how she played Arianna and was getting really tired of the character. I wish they would get rid of the whole Hernandez family and bring back Eric and Lucas.

hoping oh yes I want them to bring back Lucas too. I want Lucas to finally turn all the way evil. He was just always at the tip of being true evil. He made an awful good guy hero. I want Lucas to find out about Chloe and Philip. I think it be soo much fun to watch him make Chloe suffer. Throw in Eric who never really liked Lucas. That would be some fun stuff to watch. I’m so sick of card board boring Rafe with his no cor family or history back round. Either bring in Emily or ship Rafe off I say. Where’s my Lucas that I love to hate so? Lucas save me from the bordom that is Rafe. Then maybe Lumi/Safe fan will be truthful and agree with me that Rafe is bordom from hell.

Jennifer M, oh I would much rather have Lucas over Rafe. I’d love nothing more than DOOL to bring McKenzie as an amnesiac-Emily to Salem as Lucas’ new girlfriend. Then, Emily & Rafe run off into the sunset w/each other & Sami & Lucas finally stay together. Just thinking about it though, McKenzie & Bryan would make such an odd couple, lol.

Yeah, if they brought Lucas back for Sami, I think I’d stay. See how it played out. I loved Lucas as Sami’s hero. When Sami broke Lucas’ heart for the last time, it was just too sad. One of the times I quit watching.

Oh, just back to the Lindsay talk, the fact that the writers had EM & LH both and they couldn’t make much w/them…..I truly am losing any faith I had left in this writing staff. I mean, come on. I’ve tried to be nice, not bash the writers too much b/c I do know they have a hard job of trying to keep Days on air, but seriously? That’s the best storyline they could come up with for them?

Just wanted to add, I don’t think anyone who didn’t watch Passions knows exactly how important/huge the Ethan-Theresa romance was on the show. I mean, one fanvid on youtube has over 7.6 million views. And it’s not even the best vid out there of them. My favorite was “Addicted”, which was at like 2 million or something, but youtube took it down a couple months ago b/c of copyright violations or something….

KatieR Ejami is as much huge on youtube as was Ethan and Teresa and they don’t write for them either..lol
Lucas was never Sami’s hero : this rewrite from Sheffer in 2007 was AWFUL they were a scheming friendly duo or a scheming antagonist/adversary duo and they worked well like that, that’s all.
When the writers tried to write Lucas as some pseudo hero, good guy they destroyed his character..he became ridiculous..puke.

Nikki….I’ve looked at the # of views for Ejami vids on youtube, I didn’t see any that had over a million hits. I could have overlooked one or possibly missed one though if it wasn’t tagged properly.

As for the rest, but you think the rewrite now to make EJ into Sami’s hero makes sense?

KatieR Lucas was never a good hero. Making him the hero was the kiss of death if you ask me and the reason they wrote him off the show. I do want Lucas to come back but not for Sami. They made an awful couple and worked best when they were trying to kill each other. If I ever liked anyone one with Lucas it was Jamie.
I don’t want Ej to be the hero either. I don’t know where you got that idea. I don’t understand why the hero has to get the girl. Sami is no heroin and she shouldn’t be with a hero anyways. The reason I like her with Ej over Lucas is because Lucas always chose another girl over her. The fact that he wanted her sister Carrie over her made me never like Lucas with Sami. Maybe you don’t have sisters I don’t know but if a guy ever liked my sister that’s when he become gross to me. I was never one to go sharing in the family tree but thats me.

Please KatieR Ej is not written as Sami’s hero since there is a big nasty secret between them ! We already know that Sami will dump him and will come back with Rafe so if he was her hero it would not be the case..we know that in Dool book Good guys/hero win at the end of the day. Ej is definitely her hero, people wait for his downfall (even people who like/love him know that he will have to pay one way or another).
So no there is no rewrites with Ejami : Ej is always written as the one who will never have the girl he loves..nothing new.
As for youtube and Ejami watch more carefully and by the way the Ejami pairing/no-couple has never been written as the rooting couple (they change majorly Lucas in order for him to be the rooting guy in opposition to Ej the bad guy..ridiculous IMO and total failure) and they exist since 4 years far less than Ethan/Teresa.
p.s: you watched all Ejami videos..really ?! You had to spend lot’s of lot’s of lot’s of your time…lol

But a character like Sami Brady should not need a hero anyway, again a ridiculous rewrite by these so not talented writers.

Nikki, Youtube has a search feature, “sort by # of views”. Search EJ Sami, or Ejami, sort by # of views, you can see which ones have been watched the most.

it’s not like Arianna was a deeply rooted character on Days… it’s always sad when we loose a good actor, but it’s not a complete devastation to the show. sure, i was hoping for the EJ/Ari thing to go further… & maybe it still will until she leaves… but i am not a fan of Ari & Brady. if Ari stayed on Days they would probably keep pushing her and Brady together… so i can’t say i am terribly sad she is leaving…

however, i am sorry to those who are big fans of hers… if nicole were to ever leave i would be so sad…
now for brady & nicole to have a real chance!!!

Jennifer M, I’m the oldest of 5, but my one sister is 13 years younger than me. So while I do have a sister, no I don’t have any idea what it’s like to fight over a guy with her. Although she is only 11, I’ll let you know in 20 years, lol.

I have always hated Lindsay korman always, ever since her debut on passions and hated her more on dool. she is nothing but overrated and overpimped , yet she cannot act at all….this is VERY GOOD news and GOOD Riddance…

Passions fanatics, writing to anybody of NBC will not help anything, yr fav actress was bad in the role, she Sucked lol. Felicia was miles better than her by a long shot. he just played the same character over and over again. This is DOOL not passions, let it go , its been over for a long time. DOOL will never be passions, ever. better follow yr fav actress to her next gig, theater work and singing fluffy songs on broadway lol….

GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!, she is the most overrated actress ever, just look at the comments here. Comparing her to AZ , please AZ/nicole can act circles around her. Im glad days have finally seen the light and got rid of her, i hope they also have the brain to get rid of more passions peeps , and bring our veterans back.

KatieR, lindsay fanbase is a tiny speck in the dust compared to people like JS or Alison sweeney fanbases, all of which lindsay’s fanbase is of little use on dool as most of them were passions fans who wanted to see a passions 2.0 in salem. All the passions crew did was chase away dool fans, which is not good for this show. Dool soap is for doo fans.

KatieR,….. nobody gives a fly about teresa & ethan here, it doesnt matter if they had gazillions of views on youtube, whether they were the best supercouple on passion or whether they were soulmates forever. or whatever the so called “chemistry” that Lindsay & eric have. its all under the bridge, it got washed away when passions got cancelled, twice!!! Ethan and teresa couldnt save it. Their chemistry never ever worked on dool, it just wasnt there. Ejami are fav among dool fanbases , they are original Days characters, not some copycat replicas from another failed soap.

karma played right back at the actress, she was happy to step over the role after someone has just been fired, well lets see how she likes the sour grapes now, that it history has repeated itself

This is just another hair brained move on Day’s part. Lindsay was about the only reason I was watching. I did care about Ethan and Teresa on Passions. And loved them back together on Days. Now I don’t have to watch this soap anymore. I’ll watch One Life to Live.

I think they fired Lindsey Hartley/Arianna in order to get back some popular (and not cheap) vets like Jennifer and maybe…Jack so i am really …glad ! I mean if it is they have to do to bring back Jack and Jen again i am totally for it !
p.s : i with the best for Lindsey Hartley in her futur projects.

I feel bad for LH as an actress, but it didn’t seem like she ever really fit in with the DAYS cast. Even BD (Lucas) said when he came back for the funeral it felt like a DAYS/PASSIONS hybrid, not the old days he remembers. It would be in the shows best interest to bring back some old characters like Kayla (who is coming back) and Jack/Jen, Shawn/Belle, John/Marlena, and all the others who have made the show what it is today. LH is a great actress, and I wish her all the best, but I think the writers have it right with this one. Get back to the DAYS roots for the good of the show.

I am really shocked that she was let go. She was awesome and I did not want to see Brady and Nicole together.

I wish they were getting rid of Galen first instead of Lindsay. At least Ari was a more interesting character then Rafe. Never fell asleep watching Ari and she had interactions with more characters then Rafe. But again I would be happy if they got rid of all the Hernandez family and brought back some originals. Or maybe even better would be to fire the writers and get some new ones that would give the characters better sl and depth of character. I am sick of the recycled, repetitive, drawn out SL!!!

PC aside, Finally its gonna be dool again, with more vets like jen & jack coming back. 3 actors from passions is a whole cast IMO, it should never had happened, who ever made such a move ,it was totally stupid indeed. u dont just take 3 actors from one cancelled soap, in the same character dynamic and shove them down our throats and expect us to love them coz they were the best on their cancelled soap. One hernandez down, i hope rafe is next and brady can follow then for all i care.

To the person who won’t even put their name: so someone can’t be a Passions fan and a DOOL fan? I’ll have you know I’ve watched DOOL since I was 5yrs old in 1991. Doesn’t change the fact that I think Lindsay was a great addition to the cast. As for the “Passions ppl” supposedly driving down the ratings, GG & EM have been on for nearly 2 years. The ratings have only been sliding since March of this year. Before that DOOL was the only soap to have gained viewers. So, no, it was not them. It was a broken-up Bope, loss of Lucas, several months of no-Bo, and as usual poor writing.

As for who the “fave” couple is on DOOL, that debate belongs in a separate thread. This thread is about Lindsay and her career. Someone else compared them to Ejami, I simply rebutted.

I think it’s rather humorous that the actors and actress from Passions are being blamed for the decline in DOOL ratings when the slide happened well before they even appeared onscreen! I also find it rather insulting being told that we former Passions fans aren’t true DOOL fans, are you kidding me? I like you have been watching DOOL alongside Passions for years, and don’t like being told to leave their turf. It’s juvenille, shocking.
To the poster who stated they “hate Lindsay”, wow, are you serious? You hate someone that you have never met? Please give reasoning behind that.
DOOL is slipping not on the actors or actresses backs, but the backs of the material given to them.

I am quite devestated that they got rid of Lindsay. She is an amazing actress and absolutely beautiful. I would have really liked to have seen something grow between her and E.J. as I am sick of this whole Ejami thing.

Days is losing ratings because their writing sucks..plain and simple. I am definetely going to drop this soap now and I wish Lindsay all the best in the future!
