Pregnancy math on Days has not been calculated accurately by any calendar, I know. Sydney is a prime example. Sami and EJ were together on air ~May 20, 2008. He was with Nicole in elev in mid June. When Sami revealed the paternity of Grace…she asked Ej when he slept with her– he said April around the same time he was with Nicole??

excuse me — Ej was with Nicole on air in mid July.

Sadly soap math with due dates is off. I remember Jennifer was pregnant for a year with Abby. Lets not forget Hope being pregnant with Ciara and not sleeping with Bo then somehow Ciara is his. Then there’s Ej sleeping with Sami in May and then Nicole in July and then by magic they are due the sametime. My fav is Kayla with Joey. She was pregnant what 3 to 4 months. So Chloe could be pregnant for how ever long they want her to be. Sometimes days go on for weeks in soap land.

Jennifer M, Hope didn’t sleep with Bo when Zack was conceived either. Or at least not on screen. That was ridiculous. It was more interesting when John/Stefano was the father. Instead they had to give us this ridiculous “Bo as a mime” storyline. Now of course I cried tears of joy when it came out Bo was the father of little Zack, but it still threw me.

And don’t even get me STARTED on the whole “it’s still the same day” stuff. From August 2003 to November 2003, Passions was on THE SAME DAY!!! Now granted it was a great storyline (Sheridan trapped in basement, Luis the idiot doesn’t realize his former gf is pretending to be pregnant with his baby by using a sack of sugar, Gwen loses her baby & any chance at pregnancy again b/c of Theresa & Ethan) but my lord. Of course this is an extreme example in the land of soaps, but it still gets me everytime I think about it. I recently rewatched them and I couldn’t believe it. Poor McKenzie Westmore had to be in the same dirty outfit they couldn’t wash for 6 months b/c they needed every dirt mark to look the same.

And I loved Luis, but good lord GG and EM played naive men on Passions…..best line ever, Rebecca in the last few eppis of the 9 year run. (After they catch Juanita who’s been trying to kill everyone), Sam, “Do you know what this means?” Rebecca, “That the Harmony PD has finally solved it’s first case?” lmao, and probably right, hahaha; I feel the same way about the Salem PD often!

EJAMI EJAMI EJAMI EJAMI!!!!! I am such a happy EJAMI fan!!! I used to be all for SAFE but Rafe is getting on my nerves. And you just can’t deny the passion between Sami and EJ!!!

KatieR I guess Bo just has to look at Hope to get her knocked up. lol I remember Bo as a mime. Bope fans where trying to spin Zack into being Bo’s and they were the ones that came up with that because they hated Hope having any kids with any one elase. Aww little Zack how I cried when he died. I remember they had a voting poll befor Zack was born and the fans got to pick who’s the daddy was between John and Stefano. I was so mad they made Zack Bo’s any ways because I thought the poll thing was a cool idea. Maybe they should do that with Chloe’s baby. Phloe and Danloe fans can fight it out but they have to make sure the polls aren’t spamable.

Um, what was up with Maddie’s hair? KCorday needs to ban curling irons from that set.
Too much Safe and EJami today. Yawns. What or who the hell is Pocket? Anyone?

Mike: Pocket is Philip and Mimi’s son who was conceived with the help of a surrogate by whom he is being raised.

You see, Belle & Philip and Shawn & Mimi were both trying IVF to help them conceive. But “evil EJ” (the gloved hand) switched the samples and Belle wound up pregnant with Shawn’s child, and Mimi & Shawn’s surrogate with Philip’s.

I believe at one point Kayla and Patch were raising Pocket before they realized he was Philip’s son. Not sure on that part, I sorta quit watching about the time Kayla & Patch came on (not b/c of them).

Wow there is alot of babyswitchin’ going around on Days, huh? Well thanks for explaining. I really do appreciate it. I’ve never even heard of Mimi. That’s my wife’s nickname. OK to add to the earlier thread theme. I think Kayla is hot. ha, ha.

The people who have came back for the funeral do look amazing. Kayla looks better than she ever has. I always kind of thought that Carrie was prettier than Sami, but when they had them in the scenes together and Sami was in the Blue shirt, WOW does Allison Sweeney just keep getting prettier or what. She looked AMAZING!

I’m sorry but I sooo disagree, there was no comparison between the Safe kiss and the Ejami kiss. Ejami are so natural, passionate and down right amazing! Sami and Rafe come across as good friends or siblings – no chemistry. I like Rafe just not with Sami! It is so great to have Kayla and Shane and Kim back. Loved seeing the Brady siblings together.

Mike lol ya Kayla is hot. I’m like her hair better longer. As for Maddie’s hair I thought it was cute curly but it does look better stright.

I’m really not kidding. The woman that plays Kayla is very attractive to me. She sort of reminds me of my wife. LOL. I’m not kidding.

I agree Kayla is hot. I hope I look after as good as her when I’m her age.

Jennifer M., I’m pretty sure it was EJ who did the switch as “the gloved hand”. Maybe someone else can confirm either way? I’ll admit, I was MIA from DOOL on and off starting right around this time period. I could be misinterpreting what I remember or missed the ultimate switch that it was Bonnie.

KatieR Ej was the head of the “Gloved hand” crimes but he did hire Patrick when he couldn’t do that job himself. I’m pretty sure it was Bonnie that swiched the samples because she was after the Kiriakis money. I could be wrong but I think she got Patrick to do it and he was the other gloved hand.

I do miss Mimi but I dout she’ll ever come back because Farah is doing so well at OLTL.

So I see Amy has something against Patsy Pease (Kimberly).

Amy, I’m surprised you want Sami with Rafe and EJ with Arianna. You’re seeing something I’m not seeing.

Amy- Just had to say I feel your pain! I had to wear a herbst for a year some time ago and it was not fun. Looking back I’m not sure how I put up with that much metal in my mouth for so long! But trust me when I say it will do wonders for your bite and you’ll have a beautiful smile when all is said and done
