I liked him with Nicole too–hard to believe it –but I did. He was so much more charming then. Then reality set in and he started treating her like a butt and I stopped liking him again. I have heard many many times that James and Ari really liked the Ejole relationship–so maybe they can influence the writers to give it another go!

I will take this time to point out to the “EJAMI-ites” that this video clip is prime example that EJ SHOULD NOT BE WITH SAMI!!!

Nicole will always take advantage of a situation. I hope she is able to bribe EJ with this kidnapping thing. The one thing she wants is Sydney. Will she ask for time with Sydney to keep her mouth shut? Will EJ give Nicole time with his daughter so she will keep his secret??????hmmm… Stefano tried warning EJ! He told EJ to never underestimate Nicole, but EJ would not listen to his father!

Even before Nicole got pregnant Ej was not commited to this relationship, he was fed up with Sami fickleness between him and Lucas, so he had fun with Nicole but if Sami had said the three words he would kick to the curb the dear Nicole in one New-york minute. When he learnt about Nicole’s pregnancy, he call it a disaster ! Lol.
I never believe in this relationship, they could have been good as somewhat partners in crime or friends with benefits (even if i never saw real romantic chemistry between them) but not lovers.

Debbie, Sami screwed him over time and time again. It only makes sense that he would turn to a woman that wasn’t giving him the go around. Even afterwards though right up until he found out about Grace-it was obvious that he still loved Sami and far more than he cared for Nicole. And after the grace debacle – people have been saying that EJ is in love with Sami all over again – Stefano, Lexie, Anna and probably others.

ITA with Nadia -well said.

Anyway I am interested to see if Nicole is able to hold it over EJ’s head because she doesn’t know EJ is involved…she only knows about Anna and Anna isn’t gonna tell Nicole according to Spoilers as of yet.

EJole were never meant to last the writers are already setting’ sail for Bricole and EJami!

EJ didn’t want to marry Nicole..she tricked him into it and then pretended to be something she was not for the whole marriage…a easier imitation of Sami. He turned on her the minute he saw the real Nicole and its its pretty obvious she makes him sick to look at her. Ej has only truly loved Sami but felt she would always deny her true feelings because he was a Dimera. Nicole coming back won’t hurt EJ as I think she won’t know that EJ was involved and if she tried to bribe EJ, i would think he would off her like the skank that she is. Now that he knows she isn’t the mother of his child she is expendable in every way and I could see him having her taken out.. Brady is going to be the next person sliced and diced by Nicole and that will be exactly what EJ wants for Brady..thus his daliance with Arianna…break them up and have Brady fall into nicole ‘s web then dump Arianna thus having screwed over Rafe, Brady, Nicole and Ari. Only problem with EJ’;s plan is that he will once again fall back in love with Sami and then the shit will hit the fan

I think that Nicole will definitely blackmail EJ – but somehow I wonder if we will see a romantic side to their relationship again. At least not very- soon.

This may be wishful thinking on my part. I am afraid if Days allowed the loving side back — we would begin to rerun too much history. But is is a logical option for them to take.

I really want to see Nicole and Brady give love a try again. It would be great if EJ and Nicole could “work” together again. They would be a smart twosome in the boardroom and keep folks wondering if it could turn romantic again in the future. Love the rivalry with Brady and EJ characters. I would like to see Eric Martsolf mix it up with James Scott on the screen. EM may have more acting chops than Jay K Johnson.

Nicole was the best thing that ever happened to the character EJ. She made him desirable and sexy. All Sami has ever done is make EJ look like a pathetic loser. How many times can the writers write the same old crap for EJ and Sami? EJ obsesses over her while she obsesses over another dude. C’mon! Am I supposed to believe a hunk like EJ DiMera would be bewitched by a woman like Sami? And now once again, EJ plays the interloper in one of Sami’s love affairs. *sigh* Same old, same old. If not sexy, badass Nicole, please give this guy a woman with a little bite to make him at least interesting again.

Mindy Ej can be sexy and desirable without any woman !
He doesn’t need any woman or other character to be sexy and charming. And when he was at his most sexy self (2007) he was devilish and totally in love with Sami !

Sami can be as much as sexy and badass if not more as Nicole but right now the writers just badly write her as a needy pathetic shrew who wants to be a “good girl” and be saved by a boring guy.

EJ never had Sami available to him – she kept rejecting him. If she had professed her love, he’d have dumped Nicole like a hot potato! Sami has yet to profess her true love for EJ but I believe at some point, the writers will wise up and actually give the EJami storyline a chance – it’s the only one they HAVEN’T tried yet. They are boring the heck out of everyone now with Sami and that other guy.

There is no couple on Days that has ever had the magical chemistry that EJ and Sami had when they shared scenes. So happy to be seeing scenes with them together again! I really hope this leads somewhere good and they finally give EJami a real chance!!!

Nicole was only ever EJ’s second choice, a substitute. He brings up Sami while he’s sitting there kissing Nicole’s hand. I would have been pissed about that, but Nikki has no self respect.

I copied quotes from some of you on this discussion. You are expressign your opinion that EJ and Sami are this wonderful couple that belong together, but sometimes the reasons you give are also reasons that prove they have never really been a couple in love. They had chances to be together and blew it. And, yes, Sami has treated EJ bad too. Mostly because he’s a DiMera and she will always have a hard time getting past that. The writers will put them together… and it will backfire.

Debbie R the facts you stated are true but the reasons why Sami does what she does is where I split from your reasoning. Sami fell in love the head over heels type of love the instant she saw EJ in the towel. She fell deeper in love with him until she found out he was EJ Dimera sent to Salem to implant his seed in the Brady Woman of his choice. Since he is her family’s mortal enemy going back to her chidhood and knowing how insecure Sami has always been in herself and in the her perceived lack of love from her family, EJ is the forbidden fruit. Her family would never approve of EJ as her choice for a life mate and she knows it. She hurriedly married Lucas so she had a barrier to EJ, yet she always allowed him a space because she loved his attention. She didn’t have to be her families savior when she married EJ..in fact her conscience in the form of Aunt Colleen told her she was basically marry the man she wanted, the one she desired more. Sami wants the safety net that Lucas and Rafe provide as EJ is too scary. EJ has her heart but Sami is not willing to face her true feelings and that is where I think this EJAMI Story is heading. I would bet my salary on it.

it was so great to see where it all started!
I miss the chemistry of Sami/EJ/Nicole this was by far my favorite triangle!

I would love for EJ to reconnect with Sami… and then the Nicole S/L to start, and because of her knowledge re: Anna he “gets back together with Nicole” which will send Sami into a tailspin

Me i loved the Lucas/Sami/Ej triangle : the interactions between the three characters were so snarky and witty, it was fun to watch because the three actors have great comedic timing together !

I think EJ is the best character on Days . Im so sick of Nichole saying Sidney is her baby and the writers should write her completely off the show ! Im a 34 year old male construction worker whos girlfriend got watching the show about 9 months ago and Rafe gets on my nerves with his FBI stuff and 50 questions and always suspicious of everything , Sammi is a cry baby and Nichole is out of her mind and im so sick of her thinking she runs the show and acts so tuff in prison (its stupid) , and why on earth would Anna show up at the prison after EJ specifically told her to get on the plane and leave the country ! If she woulda left then dumbass Nichole would know nothing and EJs brilliant plan to get Sammy back for all she did would be smooth sailing ! The coolest people on the show are EJ , Stephano , Victor , Danielle and Phillip and sometimes Brady
