Arianna is right for putting off the proposal. I mean who is Brady kidding? He proposes to Ari but loves the kidnapper Nicole. He does indeed have an addictive personality, and it’s only a matter of time before he cracks again (in the arms and bed of Nicole of course).

Yeah, I have a very hard time buying the whole “they need to grow up” thing….I mean, THEY’RE MARRIED ALREADY WITH TWO CHILDREN!!!……oh wait, that was Passions, , I have a very hard time making myself believe they’ve only been seeing each other for a couple months, when Ethan and Theresa were together (on and off) for 9 years. And EM was Ethan for the last 6 years.

They are totally both in their 30s though, so it’s pretty darn ridiculous to say the least. All they’re doing is making us feel like Brady and Arianna are endgame, all the while they’re getting ready to bring Nicole back to break them up!

Totally agree that the “growing up” nonsense is exactly that. EJ’s request was absurd and Sami was an idiot to give in to it.

Stephanie forgets that Melanie is a very young girl actually, so it is not surprising she’d be confused! Considering what she’s been through, not surprising she’d choose someone who could provide her a life of security either. I want her with Nathan too!

Yeah, Stefano’s comment was okay, but Rebecca had the most hilarious lines on Passions abt LH, GG. Everytime she said, “Go back to Meh-i-co!”, I laughed for days. In context to what was going on, it was seriously hilarious.

Thanks for the shout out. I want Jabie to have a walk-on as Daniel’s brother !! Will have to think about how we can make that happen.

Back to the show – I said ‘Yah’ to Arianna saying no to Brady. She knows that he is mixed up with his feelings for Nicole. She doesnt know that Nicole will be out of jail soon — but her judgement was right not accept the proposal. Love Brady — but he is almost too romantic and impulsive. ( Loved Eric Martsolf humor. Engagement ring in champagne was so cute. I hope we see challenging scenes with him and Arianna Zucker upon her return to Salem! ) I want him to be able to show his range!

I had to laugh out loud when EJ asked Sami to stay over. EJ is just trying to stealthfully intimidate Rafe. That scene reminded me of the 2007 episode with EJ and Sami trapped in the Steam Room at the health club – and Lucas breaks into save them. EJ is on the floor feigning collapse — Sami makes Lucas perform CPR on EJ. Lucas could hardly stand it… When EJ comes conscious — he quietly makes fun of Lucas to his face. lol. Lucas goes out to Sami — and yells that he feels like everytime they are with You know Who ( EJ) he feels like he is losing Sami a little more and he cannot stand it. He says something to rhe effect of he is breaking speeding records getting to “my ” place with you and it scares me that you cannot see it. So many parallels to this situation with Rafe. EJ seems to be determined to make Rafe look like a fool and he may succeed!

I told a friend yesterday – that if Rafe, FBI and Salem PD could not get the idea to follow EJ or check his phone records when the “calls” from the kidnapper started — they dont deserve to be checking it out now – after the fact!

I am worried that Anna is not leaving town — and where will she go to live? I think EJ is planning for her to head back to Bora Bora. Dont get me wrong I love having Leann Hunley back on the show – does she have a contract or is she recurring? Love her !! But Days needs some sets! Everyone cannot bunk with the Dimeras and the Kirakisis! LOL!

Kudos to Shelly Henig. She was great yesterday. She needs to have some gumption. ( You already know my career aspirations or her. ) She needs that to help give her some gravitas after being stuck in the eternal love triangles. She could be a new Laura Horton !!

Now I hope that Molly Burnett gets the emmy nomination for best younger actress! She deserves it and she has been front and center for a long time now. But I remember the wonderful scenes with she and Steph at the hospital after Phillip was shot back in August(??) She was great in those scenes. Just like she was great yesterday. Shelley Henig needs the writing to shine…and I think these performances demonstrate that she has the talent to make it happen.

Stephanie was great today. I really don’t like Stephanie, but now it’s in a good way if that makes any sense.
It was so wrong for EJ to stay the night at Sami’s. But those two together seem so right! Their banter is soooo great. If this were real life, of course Rafe would be a better choice for Sami. But in the world of SOAPs, it’s EJ hands down. Oh and Lexi was crackin’ me up with EJ. Sis knows little brother all too well.

Can I just say that Maggie looked AMAZING today!! That deep teal color was fantastic with her hair, they aren’t doing a good job at making her look sick.
Does anyone else find it weird that EJ —the lawyer— has done nothing (that we know of) to end his marriage with Nicole. And I think it is obvious to everyone someway somehow Nicole is getting out of prison soon. Stephanie and Melanie banter was good. I wish Melanie would have let her have it a little better. I want to see Stephanie realize no one wants her, her character really pisses me off, but of course I like the actress.

Ej is focused right now on Sami and her lies and her relationship with Rafe so he is not worried about Nicole and for him it is not urgent to get divorced since he thinks she will rot in jail for a long long time ! lol The poor Elvis doesn’t know that little Nicole will blackmail Anna to get out of jail.
He will have a big surprise, that’s for sure. For now he will use Arianna to get back at Rafe..everything to put Rafe out of the picture ! But Rafe is really determined to catch the sydnapper..Drama, drama !!

I’m looking forward to Victor finding out that Melanie is Daniel’s daughter. Still thinking there’s a possibility he could freak out because Daniel is his son. Which would mean that Melanie is married to her UNCLE Philip!

I think its safe to say borrowing a line from 2007 Lucas..EJ is breaking land speed records to take Rafe’s place in Sami’s life and even seeing it..Rafe is powerless to stop it. WHY” If Sami had no repressed feelings for EJ, she would not risk her relationship with Rafe specially right after losing Lucas for the exact same person. Sami’s love for all these guys is never good enough for her to push EJ away..He is like a fungus that won’t be cured. Before you know it she will be having another kid by EJ and wondering how it happened again. LOL. She lights up like a Christmas tree around EJ and it wouldn’t surprise me if once she comes out of her Lunk coma that she will be the one to put all the pieces together herself and realise that EJ is the mastermind. Then we will see what she will do with the info besides ripping EJ a new one.

ITA that it was right for EJ to request to stay with his children. It was a total con but the reasoning was spot on.
