Just suppose Daniel tells Victor that he is Melanie’s Dad, Victor has an OMG moment and tells Daniel that he is his son. That means that the marriage has to be annulled. “What a predicament this is .” to quote Riley. I am showing my age. For the young people, The Life of Riley was a situation comedy in the 50′s.

I would love for Daniel to be Victor’s son and have Victor all weirded out over Melanie and Philip. This would be a great way to break up Melanie and Philip yet keeping their great friendship in tact. I do love the caring way Philip is with Melanie lately so this would allow Melanie to move on and not hurt Philip in the ego department. In the old days the couple would not have had sex before such a revelation but today the writers seem to revel in the slutty sex rather then then the romantic love. I couldn’t even enjoy Brady and Ari engagement or whatever it was suppose to be. The only interaction they have is in the bedroom or she is upset with him for thinking about Nicole all the time. Hardly fun to watch or care about.

I want Stephanie to lose Nathan because he can’t get over Melanie and then hopefully she will get so depressed that she will have to run home to Mom and Dad . I think Mia and Stephanie are the weakest most self centered people on the show. I don’t love to hate them just hate them..waste of space.

Melanie and Dr Dan;s re;ationship should be really fun to watch as I find for rthe first time I’m looking at Dr. Dan in a new way. He was the pervert on steroids since he came on the show but now I have found a soft spot for him..go figure. Still waiting for Melanie to really grow up and be ready for Brady..if the right time is taken this could be so romantic..maybe a couple years in real time

I just realised that if Melanie and Philip would be over if Daniel’s Victor’s son..then Brady would be off limits too…….bummer

I think the Ciao thing is an attempt to show they’re setting EJ up to fill Stefano’s shoes. Like you said, Stefano is getting up there in age and I’m pretty sure retirement has to be on his mind and they have to prepare for that possibility and they can’t have EJ just step in one day as the new Stefano so they’re easing into it.

For some reason I just don’t think they are going to go down the road of having Daniel be Victor’s son. They haven’t forshadowed this at all really, just how protective Victor is of him, but surely if they were going to throw this in, victor would be talking to himself over a glass of warm scotch alluding to Daniel being his son. I can see if Melanie and Phil hadn’t already been intimate, but I don’t think they will go there now that they have. I can see however them annuling the marriage for fraud, since melanie was in love with someone else when they got married.

I agree. I dont see the use in revealing Dan as a son at this late date. If Victor had kept that a secret – it would have leaked during an other crisis over the last 2 years.

I dont think it would really further any stories. Victor has been completely loyal, supportve and close to Dan — really more so than to Phil and grandson, Brady for that matter.

To me, we wont see an annumlment for Mel and Phil. They will move in with Maggie and try to make this marriage work. They may not have consummated the marriage, yet. But they are far from strangers. We will likely get months of angst as Chloe and Phil confide in each other and grow closer. As Days as shown — nothing has a quick resolution. I want Phloe in the end. I think Mel is way too young to be married. Molly Burnett could add a lot to the teen / college sl with a relationship with Chad. Love Taylor and Chandler is working hard to establish himself — but I cannot see them carrying a summer teen sl like Kirsten Storm, Jason Cook, Farah Fath and Nadia B did from 1999-2002.

That is where I think Days needs MB the most. Nathan needs to build his own life without Steph or Mel. They have worn that triangle out for me.

All just my opinion.

Hey, after investing in this couple for NINE years, they deserve some time together…..seriously. I mean, 9 years, and the only reason the triangle (GET) ended before either Gwen, Ethan, or Theresa DIED was b/c the show ended! This is like a honeymoon for them.

Although, I’m totally rooting for Ejanna. They’d be superhot together. And besides, I REALLY don’t want to see LH have to continue to say, “I want EM!” Whether by Ethan or Brady it’s utterly too much. Besides, Theresa was the ever-optimistic type, so when she said she’d get Ethan back (even though he was married w/a baby on the way, or when she was strapped down to the lethal-injection chair & had the drugs coursing through her body), we always knew she would!

Cannot root for Ejanna because she brings down Brady bigtime and EJ is in another league all togehter. Once the real Sami comes back people will see why she is such a perfect match for EJ and how dumb Ari is in comparison not the actress the character.

Heather, lol, I’m forever a Passions fan, it’s true, haha, and LH (though, my fave will always be McKenzie Westmore).

When Ken Corday gives them a real storyline & background I’ll prob be able to better see them as Arianna, Brady, and Rafe…..until then they seem like empty shells of ppl that my mind is intent on filling with Theresa, Ethan, and Luis! (which believe me is not good for GG b/c if I had been on Passions the last two years, Luis would have been the one who fell over Niagara Falls in a barrel…..).
