I keep thinking that Daniel is Melanie’s dad and doesn’t even know he had a baby. That’s just my opinion. I hope is comes out soon.

Although, it would be nice if he is coming back as Melanie’s dad. That way, he can get her away from Bo.

trent was definatly mels dad. renee is right.thats how they linked max&mel but with Chloe not being able to have a baby this could be a jolt if they made Daniel the father.It wouldnt make sense but their goen somewhere with Carly&Daniel.

Ewww, I wouldn’t want to see Mel as a Kiriakis. She’s already slept with Phillip and they can’t take that back, so if they go that direction it’s totally incest. But then again I didn’t even like the whole adoptive uncle dates all his nieces thing they did with Max either so maybe it’s just me that finds it to be a disturbing concept

I agree with so many of you — I wish SD would come to Days as one of the Horton brothers. I kinda like the idea of Tommy Jr too. I dont think Tommy Jr ever died after he recovered his memory and returned to Salem. I believe that the Tommy Jr character is the one that is always joked about… he went to the attack to retreive something and nver returned…just like Don Craig, the attorney, I think they say he went to mail a letter and was not heard from again.

I somehow doubt SD will be a Horton. All of the brother’s and sisters had blonde, light brown or light auburn hair as I recall ( many from pictures ). SD has a much darker, mediterranean look. Maybe he is Justin’s father and Victor’s brother – who I do not remember at all. That would be a good fit. He and Wally Kurth were good together on GH.

Hope they are not bringing on someone of SD’s reputation and stature to play a short term player like a elected official to exonerate one of Salem’s notorious characters???

Also, I know anything goes in Soap-Land, but technically sponsors are supposed to be of the same sex, so doubt he’s her sponsor.

I happened to do a search on Stuart Damon on You Tube yesterday. He did several episodes of ‘The Saint ‘with Roger Moore. He was great at bantering back and forth with the Brit. If Days is really smart – Stuart Damon will be working with James Scott. They will be histerical together with the right material ! Oh, I hope I am right.

He wont be Mels Dad. crystal already confirmed in the Bonnie Hunt interview that mels father is a loca, someone in town.
Crystal also said ages ago Mels father was a Dr. Plus Nadias been working with CC and Shawn a lot lately according to her tweets. Mels father is Dan.

There are multiple stories now on the canvas that Stuart Damon could be put into. If I had to speculate though, i’d guess something involving Maggie, or possibly Kate. He’s an awesome actor, and has proven that through portraying the iconic Alan Quartermaine on General Hospital for over two decades. ABC’s loss is DOOL’s gain, and I couldn’t be happier. Regardless of who he will be on canvas with, it will be great to see another daytime vet back in front of the camera.

I think Daniel is the father of Melanie. Days is making such a big deal to point out Chloe can’t have kids.

There are simply too many scenes with Mel, Carly and Dan for him not to be the daddy.
