YES!!!!! I miss them soooo much. I have to get my daily J&M fix from you tube!!!! I so wish they would bring them back!!

hey, I would love me some John back (or nuJohn, whichever, nuJohn was freaking hilarious), but Marlena…I always liked her more when she was crazy/evil/possessed, hahaha

BUT, I do feel like enough time’s passed by that I would love them both back. Especially w/Sydney kidnapping AND of course the death of Alice which they’ll have to deal with sometime this year I’d like to think. In this case, the sooner the better, IMHO, b/c the longer they put it off the less of a tribute to Frances Reid it will feel like.

I wouldn’t care one way or the other if John and/or Marlena came back. The show has gone on fine without them.
But, you know who I really miss? Don’t laugh now….Sean and Belle. I’d love to see them come back and I’m not a youngster!
Wish that the guy who plays Roman, I think it’s Josh Taylor, would improve his speech. It’s degrading for a character to say dis, dem and day, instead of THis, THem, and THey. Dat drives me bonkers!

WHO NEED THEM!!! Deidre was paid way too much money, and so they had to cut so many other cast members. She is loaded after four divorces! I really feel sorry for ALL the cast who still are not working!! I know, because I was on the set many times, with people who know, and do things there on the set!!! Deidre THINKS she is a Prima donna, Well she is NOT!!!! Drake really change too after his divorce from Victoria too!! Keep them both off!!!!

Yes, I’d like to see them back! Too many young stories going on! Seems like there’s not enough stories going on. Bring back the super couple!!!!!!

You know, I thought I would. I really did. But I do not miss them AT ALL! They had turned into really boring characters, and when I go back now and watch some of their earlier stuff (ca. 1990s) I can’t believe how cheesy it was! I think if Drake and Deidre had been given some good material they could have turned things around, but I think they had their time and now it’s someone else’s turn to shine.

I would love to see them come back. I loved them. Maybe they can be a “sign” to Bo & Hope that love does last and will always find a way back to each other. No matter what the consequence. They have been through alot and Marlena never gave up on John and made sure she fought for their love. They need to come back. I really miss them.

I am not anxious to have John and Marlena back any time soon. I agree with Patty – if Days has the budget : I would like to see Kirsten Storm and Jason Cook return as Belle and Shawn vs John and Marlena. We need some more late 20’s/early 30’s folks versus 55+.
I hope when Adrienne returns ( and if Shawn and Belle returned) – they would not bring the kids. I like children – but we have a strong quota on the air now. Not much they can do at young ages. I would rather keep featuring that beautiful and talented actress, Sydney. Give her all of the children’s airtime.

Yes, bring them back!! In response to Libby, though, Days hardly needs more late 20’s/early 30’s folks. Geez, thats all Days is about any more. I met Drake personally
a few years ago & he is very genuine & loved his fans. I hadn’t heard he & Victoria divorced either. Thats too bad, if its true. I met her also.
I’m tired of the Bo/Hope break up-or not & their fooling around.

I miss John and Marlena. It would be nice if every so ofte n they brought them back for a wedding, or family gathering.

Please bring them back, They made the show and I think they need to bring them back now and get everythin going again. Bring the ratings up and now espically with alice passing they better at least bring them back for those episodes.

I tend to think that they both should come back to Salem. It defies logic to have Sammi going through this without Marlena around. After reading that article, I have to wonder why they let him go after his offer to return to his 1986 salary-which was 23 years ago! He is not the only vet that had something like this happen to them. When contract talks broke down between Martha Byrne (Lily, ATWT) and Procter & Gamble, she had agreed to a pay cut, and the only stipulation she had was that she would be able to work the same number of days as the year prior. P&G declined her request, and she was let go. It seems that no one is safe in Daytime anymore. Such are the times I guess, but still, I’d love to have John and Marlena back, ditto for Kayla and Patch, but that repairing seems unlikely at the moment, with Stephen Nichols being put on contract by Y&R. All the fans can do is voice our opinions, and keep our fingers crossed

I am so sorry that my comments sounded sharp. I jsut reread them — and I can see how I did not make the best word choice. Please accept my apologies. My real point was that I did not particularly care to have Marlena and John back right now.
I was a big fan of John and Marlena for a long time. I do not have any negative thoughts of them. I think they seem to be both very sincere and authentic people.
Did not mean to come across negatively.
