I loved Bo’s acting when Hope announced she and Ciara were leaving. Go Peter! I also agree with Amy. I am loving Melanie and I want Nathan to be with her not that scum Philip.

The nurses: Curly hair, darker complexion was formerly a nurse on the comedy Scrubs. I saw her last episode. It was very sad. The other nurse was on ER.

Yes the nurses i love : i mean it’s Laverne from the awesome Scrubs and Haleh from the great ER !
Funny they cast good actress from good prime time shows for minor characters and they cast model-can’t act-dull actors for major characters..lol

whos the model-can’t act-dull actors? I love all the actors honestly. I was so ticked when Hope told bo he was moving out and quite surprised justin was telling her she was wrong.

So : Rafe, Stephanie, Lucas (i liked the character before but the acting is not very strong), Roman, Mia, Chloe, Daniel are the most obvious after the actors are quite good for soap standards but not very charismatic like most in prime time and some on Daytime (like Crystal Chapell, Michael Muney, James Scott when he is not bored by his material, Michael Zaslow,Maureen Garett, Rachel Melvin, Blake Berris, Trevor St John, Susan Haskell, Roger Howarth, Joseph Mascolo ect..).
But it is my opinion and i am more used and most enjoy prime time and movie acting.

And Ali Sweeney can be very good with the good acting partner, otherwise she can be really over-the-top fake : it’s a miss or hit with her. My humble opinion always. lol.

wow, sounds like you should stick with prime time because as a soup actors they are great. The drama is a bit more than prime time. Ali is far from a hit or miss. she’s a great actress. Stephanie I can agree with, she’s just not convincing in her character but you’re crazy about Rafe. People who watched him on Passions knows his talent and coming to days I think has been a little awkward. In all honestly, you may be judging your opinion on the material they are given. They are told to act in the scene. Its not like, hey heres some words do your thing.

I really hope (no pun intended) they find a way to redeem Hope. She used to be a really cool character. The writers are strangling the life out of her and making her into a real dip.

You know everybody is free of their opinion. It’s mine that’s all. And i really like Ali Sweeney as Sami : she is charming and appealing. She is maybe even my favorite female character on Days.
But she can be really over the top (the crying..) sometimes but maybe you are right : it’s the soap acting. After 15 years working on soap she has probably bad (for me) soap habits.
Rafe doesn’t do anything for me, particularly in terms of acting. And i never watched Passions ( i am not very fond of soaps generally). Except when the character and the acting fascinates me like with the Roger Thorpe character for example.
And don’t worry i keep watching prime time shows lol !

Hope is so off the wall, maybe they are setting up a menopause story, or one that Hope is in the throes of a mental breakdown.
This is not the Hope we all know and love.

Julia- I agree..Daniel’s acting is very flat in this show. Plus the poor guy his storyline is a bit lame. Faking drunk, “porn” scenes with Chloe and getting conked in the head and tied to a bed…not much to work with! lol But he did play on the lifetime movie, Murder in the Hamptons. His acting was much better in that..
