i think stephanie does have a problem and i believe she should tell phillip she shouldn’t hide it from him he will understand and try to get her the help that she needs. I know phillp loves her enough to understand,so she shouldn’t hide this drug problem any longer.

she just got the pills yesterday. Drug problem already? They are leading up to that alright. And phil getting her a new car and making a point of saying how fast it is..I see it coming..

I think it is ridiculous how Days has written off Kayla and Steve! It is one thing that they are not on the show, but they could at least have a reference to them more often. Stephanie has been through near death tragedies/kidnapping, engagement, college graduation and therapy. And they don’t even show her speaking to her mother on the phone or making reference to her parents. I know she’s an adult, but they have taken a close child/parent relationship and dumped it!

I’m getting sick to death of people wanting Melanie with Phillip. Melanie is a spoiled brat. Stephanie is the best thing that ever happened to Phillip. If you ask me, a fan of the show for 45 yrs, Stephanie is too good for Phillip. I am afraid that Stephanie is getting hooked on drugs. Its sad to see a good girl begin to ruin her life.

I like the way Stephanie doesn’t want Phillip to keep things from her and then she hides the fact that she is taking anti-anxiety medication. Either bad writing or stupid arrogance on the character’s part. Stephanie always struck me as someone who would be able to lean on her mate for support in difficult times. Surely, Phillip would be there to care for her.

It is wierd that she feels she needs to hide the need for medication. It is an accepted treatment for what she has been through. I can’t believe the writers made no reference during the entire kidnapping to the fact that she was raped by Ford Decker just last year (in real time)… Very much a contributing factor the the mental state, seems like the most recent kidnapping could have triggered some of the same memories. Better tell Owen to stay off the stairs!

Will Stephanie get better then there are wedding for her and Philip? Steph should tell Philip how she feel and Philip will try to understand what she has been tramatized..Philip loves her very much..

Good point!!!! She was raped last year. That would be enough to make her suicidal and in the state hospital for treatment. Then maybe her mom and dad would come back.

If you have to do it, you might as well do it right.
