I have been watching Days since I was a little girl.as long as I can remember,Let Nicole keep her baby,she is trying so hard to keep whats hers,I think she deserves a hand.Theres an old saying what you dont know wont hurt. Sami,Nicole E.J.and Lucus are almost the only ones that can keep days of our lives going on Bring on the young and take the old out. I want to be able to keep days of our lives in my life. Actually this is why I want to raise my head up every day Mon-Friday..Please keep up the good work. I would also like to say thanks for bringing Braddy Black and Rafe to the show. keep up the good work .Sami Braddy deserves a reward.She is a great actress. Keep Nicole in the lights……Thanks dool fan

What this show needs are new writers, I have been watching Days since day 1. Many of the “new” storylines are repeats. You will lose a big audience with all of the characters slated to be “eliminated” Max was a race car driver now he is moping tables! Duh!Whatever happened to Shawn and Belle? Here today gone tomorrw! Need more creative writing.

I think they are trying to bring in the younger viewers. The story lines around the younger characters is growing and I hear they are bringing back Will, Sami and Lucas’s kid. He’s supposed to be 16, Mia is 15 and Melanie is 18. If they bring in a new love interest for Max that just makes a stronger case for what I’ve suspected. Time to youthen up the show just a bit.

Can’t say I am suprised that Steve and Kayla are leaving, they have done nothing with them since they came back. I hate that Chelsea is leaving they have wasted a great actress with no story. I am ok with them tring to youthen the show just make the stories worth watching

sammi@lucas should be together .the real shawn and belle should be together. mel should die @ take stefano @ sluts like kate and cloe.ej and nicole should stay together she is trying to be good then she lost the baby.she lost it .sami has 4 kids let nicole have a chance.give sami and lucas another chance.who cares about bo @hope they are getting old in more ways then one.cloe and dr cant keep my pants on should be together after all the shit they went through just to be together.

I have been watching DOOL for more than 35 years. I think the firing and exit of so many strong players(John and Marlena, Steve and Kayla,etc) is just a prelude to the fact that NBC is going to ax DOOL. They are just prepping the people slowly for this event. Its sad they don’t understand that DOOL is the most taped soap on the air, by women who have careers. DOOL isn’t just romantic drivel. It has story lines that hit close to home. It has action, it has mystery. Most important it has the heart of the people young and old who have been watching this show for years. NBC needs to wake up and support DOOL. They need to show that they care as we do. Corday I hope you read this and come to the conclusion that losing DAYS OF OUR LIVES would be a tragedy

I agree with the comment that Days sucks. it does now
and I wish they would take it off the air if they are
going to continue in this vein. I have watched this
show all my life-we were conceived the same year
and I literally grew up with it. some of my earliest
memories are sitting with my Gran watching it. I
watched Deidre’s first day on that show. she was
my idol and role model growing up. what Corday did
to her and Drake is devastating and what he has done
to this show is unspeakable. he took a wonderful
escape created by his parents and trashed it.
he brought back all the wonderful old alumni and
treated them like crap and instead gave stories to
these crappy young actors that make me want to
go peel my skin off with a potato peeler every time
I have to look at them or hear their lousy acting.
back in its heyday Days was a force to behold, and
any old school fan knows what I am talking about.
I can’t even fathom a Days without Marlena in it.
the fact that they are going to kill Tony breaks my
heart-they brought him back so wonderfully and he
and Anna had the potential to be the new Gene
and Calliope they were so funny together. Corday
doesn’t give two shits about the long time fans of
this show, and for the younger ones, don’t kid
yourselves. he doesn’t care about you either. he
has destroyed his parents legacy to him and watching
Days now is like watching a cherished loved one die
slowly from dementia.

i keep hoping and hoping for this baby thing to end. it is so boring and unless a new and interesting story line can come very soon, i think i’ll just quit the frustration.

I think this baby mess needs to stop too! I could care less about the cast that is leaving because there story line isnt very intresting. I would like nichole to leave and lose it all before she goes! I think that with all the lies and scams she deserves to be cought. The lies are drivng me nuts.. they are so bad and ej needs to catch on….

Happy with all the current character exits. TIVO is a blessing. Its takes me 30 minutes to watch the show because I fast forward through most of the storylines. EJ and Sami are my only reasons for watching the show lately. I’m glad Rafe is sticking around cause Sami needs a new man. I’m so over Lucas as her love interest. So bring on the EJ, Rafe and Sami triangle. We can keep Nicole around for kicks. She adds a little spice.

If Daniel is going to continue to bed hop his way through Salem, he can go too. That man falls in love with someone new every week. At one point he was making googoo eyes at Stephanie. Bet you Daniel lovers forgot about the gym scene.

Max is not a looser, so why are the writing him to be one! He had a great career and tons of fans. One crash, that wasn’t even his fault, and it’s all over? Stephanie too for that matter. Why is she an unpaid worker and Melanie has an office? She’s 18 for Christmas sake.
She can go too, I hate the way she moves her mouth when she talks. Her acting coach should talk to her about that.

I could go on and on for awhile, but I wont. The bottom line is this. I love DOOL and don’t want it to go away. I’ve watched since Bo met Hope. So I know the real ages for Salem’s children and Brady is so not older than Shawn D. Writers get it together before you go the way of Another World. Another great soap lost.

I’m happy that Rafe is staying for awhile. He is hot! I’m glad that they hired someone worth watching. I’m liking him for Sami. He doesn’t take her crap and I think he is the kind of guy she needs. As for Nicole and EJ. I am getting tired of her. She hasn’t changed. We all know that Sami will end up with Grace and Sydney. Hope she can raise the kids with Rafe.

I haven’t kept up on Days since I went back to work full time 2 yrs ago, I recently found out that I can keep up with it on Utube & I love that. So far though the only thing on there that I want to see is Ej & Sami. There rest of the story line sucks, besides Hope going back to Bo. I love Luis(ex-passion) but not for Sami, maybe for Sheridan. Hate Chloe and Lucas together. Bring back the old Brady and let them be together. Can’t stand Melanie, she looks like complete trailor trash. Someone please cathc me up with this baby story. Are both of these babies Sami’s? I am completely lost.

I agree, get rid of Melanie she is a bad actress! Her mouth bugs me too! I LOOOVE Sami with Rafe! It would be great to see a long romance with them. I couldn’t watch Rafe with anyone else, I love how he is so protective of Sami, he only has eyes for her! I’d like to see Stephanie and Max back together. Bye-bye Chelsea, I didn’t like her anyway. I’d like to see Sami and Rafe end up with both babies, and maybe in the future one of their own, like Marlena and John.

I am a long time follower of Days. I think it is a mistake to drop many of the older, well-loved charactors. Today many people, young and old have numerous options about when and where to watch the program. Assuming that that the audience can only be young college students on break and at home moms is wrong thinking. People of all ages can watch at some point in the day and will do so if the story line is compelling. Usually it is. The trick is to support the program with advertising or pay-for -view on all mediums.

I agree with Laura…what is Melanie’s purpose now?? Nick is in jail, he dad is dead and max hardly sees or speaks to her…she just needs to have her ass beat by Stephanie and Chelsea and be gone! Big mistakes the writers are making taking off Marlena, John, Steve & Kayla! They need to keep them and bring back Shawn & Belle, Kerri, Austin, Mike, Eric, Billie, Vivian and Kristen. They can get rid of whiney Melanie, slutty Cloe and that spoiled brat Will who really needs a good ass beating!

Amen Robyn and Laura. Only keep Cloe and have her go back with hottie Daniels. If this continues as is you are going to lose a lot of Days watchers. I have been a fan since day one in between raising two kids, working 28 years and now retired and love spending that hour every day in Salem.
